See how the rigid frame, BlackStop™ wraparound, and triple-layer screen go together on the 2025 Pro model.
Built for a Finished, Pro-Grade Bay
BlackStop™ Wraparound
A single-piece enclosure wraps the whole bay in black-out fabric, darkening the room for deeper contrast and a cleaner, more immersive picture.
Triple-Layer Premium Screen
A hand-sewn, three-layer impact screen delivers a sharp, detailed image and quiet, controlled impact — in Premium or ambient-light-ready High-Contrast Gray.
Borderless Floor-to-Turf
An advanced cabled design pulls the image to the floor with no bottom border, so the picture blends into your turf for full immersion.
Rigid 2-Inch EMT Frame
Heavier 2-inch steel EMT and higher screen tension hold the surface flatter than a standard build — the difference you see in a projected image.
Detachable Flaps
Secure fasteners keep the side flaps and foam neatly in place, giving the finished bay a polished, professional appearance.
Sized for Home & Commercial Bays
Eighteen sizes in 5 ft and 8 ft depths, customizable up to 20 ft wide or deep, fit everything from a home room to a commercial venue.
Space You Will Need
Measure before you buy. These are the manufacturer's clearances for a safe, well-tensioned Pro bay — plan your room around them and the build goes smoothly.

The Luxury Home Build
Your dedicated sim room is a showcase. You want a more finished look and a darker, more immersive image in the space.
The Upgrader
You have run a net or a DIY bay and you are ready for the flatter surface, rigid frame, and polished finish of the Pro tier.

From Box to First Swing
1. Measure Your Space
Confirm 10–12 ft of hitting distance, 2–3 in. of side buffer, 6 in. above the enclosure, and 12–16 in. behind the screen.
2. Build the 2-Inch Frame
Cut 2-inch EMT to the included plan — or add the pre-cut Pipe Framing Kit — sized 4 in. taller and wider than the screen.
3. Wrap the BlackStop™
Hang the single-piece BlackStop™ enclosure on the frame with the steel corner fittings and secure the detachable flaps.
4. Tension the Screen
Hang the triple-layer screen and pull it taut with the 6 in. ball bungees for a flat, even, distraction-free surface.
5. Aim the Projector
Center the projector on the screen and dial in the image. Darker rooms — or the High-Contrast Gray screen — give the deepest blacks.
6. Let It Settle
Give the screen a couple of days under tension to relax any wrinkles, keep new balls clean, and you are set for thousands of swings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Each kit includes the premium triple-layer impact screen in your chosen material, the BlackStop™ single-piece black nylon enclosure, steel corner fittings, all required zip ties, and detailed assembly instructions — made in the USA. The 2-inch EMT frame pipe is supplied by you or added as an optional Pipe Framing Kit.
Plan for 10–12 ft of hitting distance from the screen, 2–3 in. of buffer on each side, 6 in. of buffer above the enclosure, and 12–16 in. of clearance behind the screen. Build the frame 4 in. taller and wider than the screen for even tension with the 6 in. ball bungees.
Both are hand-sewn, triple-layer premium screens. The Premium screen is the standard pick for most rooms. High-Contrast Gray uses the same three-layer build but delivers deeper blacks and crisper color, which helps most in rooms with ambient light.
The Pro frame is built from 2-inch steel EMT, which you can buy locally to save money using the included plan, or add the pre-cut Pipe Framing Kit for a no-measuring, no-cutting build. The kit includes the steel fittings and fasteners either way. Do not substitute PVC — it will not work with the fittings.
The Pro uses a rigid 2-inch EMT frame with higher screen tension for a flatter surface and a more finished look, plus the BlackStop™ wraparound. The Carl's Place DIY (C-Series) uses a simpler 1-inch frame and is the budget-friendly starting point. Choose Pro for dedicated rooms where screen quality and appearance matter most.
Yes. The optional Movable Crossbar is built to hold overhead launch monitors and includes the fittings, pipes, and a fabric sleeve sized to your enclosure for a clean, pro-level look. It positions the unit over the hitting area without adding clutter to the bay.
For the safety of both the golfer and the screen, the manufacturer recommends standing a minimum of 10–12 ft from the screen. This distance also helps prevent premature wear on the material.
The manufacturer does not recommend ironing the screen, as it is easy to damage. Mounting the screen under tension and letting it relax for a couple of days smooths out most wrinkles. A clean, consumer-grade steamer with distilled water can speed up the process without leaving water marks.
Use new golf balls free of scuffs, grass stains, or marker, and keep your clubs clean. Protect the edges and grommets from direct strikes. Impact screens are wearable products and may show wear early with heavy use, but they are built to withstand many thousands of strikes over their life.

Carl's Place impact screens and enclosure materials are wearable products and do not carry a warranty, and all impact screen sales are final with no returns.
