Golf Mode
BenQ's Golf Mode is a picture mode tailored to reproduce the natural colors of a golf course.
Short Throw Ratios
Most BenQ golf projectors have throw ratios under 0.9:1, letting you mount close to the screen and stay out of the swing path. Short-throw models like the LK830ST (0.496:1) fill a 100-inch screen from about 3.6 feet.
Laser and LED Light Sources
No more bulb changes. BenQ's laser and LED projectors are rated for 20,000 hours or more in normal mode, with no bulb to replace.
Low Input Lag
When your swing happens in milliseconds, your projector needs to keep up. BenQ rates the TK710STi at 8.3ms and the AK700ST at 16.7ms input lag at 1080p 120Hz, fast enough for real-time swing-to-screen response.
Dust-Sealed Optics
Basements and garages are dusty. Sealed optical engines on BenQ laser models such as the AH500ST (IP5X) and LK830ST (IP6X) keep dust out of the light path.

Which One for Which Room
Shorter Room: AK800ST
The shortest throw of the three, 9.2 to 11.1 ft for a 10 ft x 7.5 ft 4:3 screen. It has no lens shift, so plan the mount centered on the screen.
Bright Room: AK900ST
6,000 ANSI lumens, the brightest of the three: 20% more than the AK800ST and 18% more than the LK936ST.
Off-Center Mount: LK936ST or AK900ST
Both have optical lens shift, vertical +/-60% and horizontal +/-23%, so the picture moves without moving the projector.
Curved Screen: AK800ST or AK900ST
Auto Screen Fit 2.0 uses a built-in camera to fit the picture to your screen, and Smart Warping adds control points for a curved screen.
Long Cable Run: LK936ST
The only one of the three with an HDBaseT input, which carries 4K from the PC over one cable.
Gaming Between Rounds: AK800ST or AK900ST
BenQ lists 4.8 ms input lag at 1080p 240Hz, against 16.7 ms for the LK936ST.
