Pocket Launch Monitor. Launch Angle and Apex On-Device. Spin in the App.
The Swing Caddie SC300i Portable Golf Launch Monitor is the step-up Voice Caddie for golfers who want complete ball flight data without an indoor simulator setup. Set it up 5 feet behind the ball, swing, and the SC300i reports six on-device metrics plus spin in the paired app.
A 5.3" sunlight-readable LCD shows your numbers at the range, and Bluetooth syncs to the MySwingCaddie app for shot history, video overlay, and per-club averages — all running off a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery (USB-C).

Launch Angle & Apex On-Device
Beyond carry, swing speed, ball speed, and smash factor, the SC300i adds launch angle and apex height directly on the LCD — the two metrics that turn distance numbers into real ball-flight insight.
MySwingCaddie App + Bluetooth
Pair the SC300i to your phone and the free MySwingCaddie app (iOS and Android) layers in spin rate, video overlay analysis, stats history, and per-club tracking. Use it or skip it — the SC300i works fully standalone.
5.3" Sunlight-Readable LCD
The large 5.3" backlit LCD displays every number at a glance — even in direct sunlight. Voice output also announces your distance after each shot, so you can review the full data without breaking stride.
Rechargeable Lithium-Polymer (USB-C)
No batteries to swap. The SC300i runs on a built-in lithium-polymer battery with USB-C charging — 20 minutes of charging gives you a full hour of practice, and a full charge lasts up to 20 hours.
Doppler Radar + Atmospheric Calibration
24 GHz K-band Doppler radar with calibrated atmospheric pressure sensors keeps the math honest at any altitude or humidity. Published accuracy: ±2% ball speed and ±3 yards carry distance in target mode.
Practice + Target Modes
Practice Mode records per-club averages for distance, smash factor, and apex. Target Mode gives you a yardage to chase with 10-shot challenges — measure how close you actually get under pressure.
Every Launch Monitor Number You Need to Improve
Six on-device metrics show on the SC300i's LCD after every swing. Connect Bluetooth and the MySwingCaddie app adds spin rate, video overlay, and per-club averages — turning a $400 pocket monitor into a real practice and fitting tool.
Each shot also auto-syncs to your per-club averages — switch clubs with the included remote and the SC300i updates that club's distance, smash factor, and apex baselines without any manual logging.
Is the SC300i Right for You?
Serious Practice Player
You hit the range two or three times a week and want real ball-flight numbers — not just distance. Launch angle and apex on-device, plus spin in the app, give you the data to actually tune ball flight instead of just measuring carry.
App + LCD Hybrid User
You like having data on the unit's LCD for fast feedback at the range, and the option to dive into video overlay and stats history later. The SC300i covers both modes — standalone or paired to MySwingCaddie.
Backyard Net or Indoor Bay Owner
You have a hitting net or basement studio and want per-club averages over time. With at least 7 feet between ball and net, the SC300i tracks every indoor strike and stores the rolling per-club data right on the device.
Step Up From SC200 Plus
You've outgrown a basic radar speed monitor. The SC300i adds launch angle, apex height, spin rate (in app), Bluetooth, USB-C charging, and a 5.3" display — all the upgrades that make a $400 unit feel closer to a $1,500 launch monitor.
Carry, swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, and apex on the LCD — plus spin rate when you pair the MySwingCaddie app. The cleanest data set under $500.

SC300i Setup: From Box to Range in Under 5 Minutes
Six rules for accurate readings — outdoors at the range or indoors into a hitting net.
Charge the Battery
Plug the SC300i into the included USB-C cable for a full charge before your first session. 20 minutes of charging gives one hour of practice; a full charge lasts up to 20 hours.
Position the Monitor
Place the SC300i approximately 5 feet directly behind the ball on your target line. The radar sensor should face the impact zone with no obstructions in the line of sight.
Level the Surface
Keep the monitor and the ball at the same height. If your hitting mat sits on a raised tee box, prop the SC300i on something matching so the radar reads a flat path.
Set Your Loft
Use the remote to select your club's loft angle. The SC300i uses loft to calculate carry distance and apex, so a 9° driver and a 56° wedge each get matched to the correct flight model.
Pair MySwingCaddie (Optional)
Open the free MySwingCaddie app on iOS or Android, enable Bluetooth, and tap to pair. The SC300i works fully standalone — pair only when you want spin rate, video overlay, or stats history.
Use Real Golf Balls
Foam and limited-flight balls will register, but distances and apex skew short. For accurate ball-flight data, use standard golf balls — even a budget practice sleeve gives reliable numbers.
Range data, app analysis, complete ball flight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Voice Caddie publishes the SC300i at ±2% on ball speed, ±3 yards on carry distance in target mode, and ±3% on carry distance in practice mode. Calibrated atmospheric pressure sensors adjust for altitude and humidity. Position the unit about 5 feet directly behind the ball, on a level surface, for the cleanest readings.
The SC300i shows six metrics on the LCD: carry distance, swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, and apex height. Pair the MySwingCaddie app via Bluetooth and you also get spin rate plus video overlay analysis and stats history.
The SC200 Plus ($279.99) measures carry, swing speed, ball speed, and smash factor — four metrics, no app, AAA batteries, 4" LCD. The SC300i ($399.99) adds launch angle, apex height, spin rate (in app), Bluetooth, USB-C rechargeable battery, and a larger 5.3" LCD. If you want complete ball-flight data and app-based shot analysis, choose the SC300i. If you only need distance, speed, and smash, the SC200 Plus is the better-value pick.
Yes. The SC300i is fully standalone — every reading shows on the built-in 5.3" LCD and the unit speaks your carry distance after each shot. The MySwingCaddie app is optional and adds spin rate, video overlay, stats history, and per-club tracking, but it's not required to use the launch monitor.
Position the SC300i approximately 5 feet directly behind the ball, on your target line, at the same height as the ball. The radar sensor should face the impact zone with no obstructions in the line of sight.
Yes — both. Outdoors at the range it works without restriction. Indoors into a hitting net, allow at least 7 feet between the ball and the net so the radar has enough flight window to capture ball speed, carry, and apex accurately.
The SC300i runs on a built-in lithium-polymer battery with USB-C charging. 20 minutes of charging gives you a full hour of practice, and a full charge lasts up to 20 hours. No AAA batteries to swap.
Yes. Voice Distance Output announces your carry distance through the unit's built-in speaker after every shot, so you can keep your eyes downrange without walking back to check the screen.
Yes. Each player can connect their own phone or tablet to the SC300i via Bluetooth using the MySwingCaddie app, saving individual shot history, club averages, and video reviews on their own device.
