Foresight GC3S Features and Benefits
Triscopic Camera Accuracy
Three high-speed cameras capture thousands of images of the ball and club before, during, and after impact. It measures the ball directly instead of estimating flight, which is why camera units like this anchor serious home simulators.
Three-Camera Foresight Tracking
The GC3S uses three high-speed cameras to measure ball flight directly through impact. The system is robot-tested and tour-validated for dependable practice data indoors and outdoors.
Built-In Touchscreen
A transflective LCD touchscreen shows your numbers right on the unit, readable in direct sunlight. Drop it beside the ball at the range and practice with live data, no phone or laptop required.
Measured Ball Data
Ball speed, launch angles, total spin, and spin axis are measured photometrically on every shot, with carry distance delivered in real time. Works indoors or out with any standard golf ball.
FSX Simulation Included
The included first-year Gold Subscription unlocks FSX Play, FSX 2020, and FSX Pro with 25 courses: save sessions, track rounds, play online contests, and see 3D ball flight at home.
LINK Rangefinder Pairing
The included Bushnell Pro X3 LINK rangefinder uses your real GC3S data to recommend clubs on the course, so your practice numbers follow you from the sim room to the fairway.
What the GC3S Measures on Every Shot
Standard on every GC3S: no subscription required, any golf ball, indoors and out.
Club Metrics with the Gold Subscription
Unlocked with Gold (your first year is included). Apply a club marker dot to the face and the cameras track the club through impact.
GC3S Gold Subscription: Cost and How It Works
The GC3S uses an annual Gold Subscription for FSX software and club data. Your first year is included; continued access requires annual renewal after that.
Gold Subscription
- FSX Play, FSX 2020 & FSX Pro software
- 25 FSX Play golf courses
- Full club data tracking
- Session saves, round tracking & online contests
If You Skip a Renewal
- The unit keeps working as a launch monitor
- Ball data stays live on the touchscreen
- Software connection pauses until you renew
- Renew anytime to restore software access and club data
Your Data Follows You onto the Course
The GC3S integrates with the Bushnell Golf app and the included Bushnell Pro X3 LINK laser rangefinder. With the MyBag feature, you test and characterize up to 13 clubs: real carry distances, yardage gaps, and dispersion patterns measured by the GC3S.
On the course, the Pro X3 LINK pairs that profile with the exact yardage to the flag and recommends the right club for the shot, based on how you actually hit, not how you hope to.
Who Should Buy the Foresight GC3S?
First-Time Foresight Buyer
You want genuine Foresight camera accuracy without the GC3 or GCQuad price. The GC3S is the lowest entry point into the triscopic family, and the included first-year Gold gets you everything from day one.
Home Simulator Builder
You are building a sim room and want measured ball data, not estimates, driving the screen. Pair the GC3S with a net or enclosure and FSX Play and you are playing real courses at home.
Range Practicer
The built-in touchscreen means the GC3S works standalone at the range. Set it beside the ball, see live numbers in sunlight, and dial in carry distances club by club.
On-Course Player
The included Pro X3 LINK rangefinder turns your practice data into club recommendations on real holes. If you want practice and play connected, this is the bundle that does it.

Getting Started with the GC3S
1. Position the Unit
Set the GC3S beside the ball on the same level as your hitting surface. Use the included alignment stick to square it to your target line.
2. Power On and Go
The touchscreen walks you through setup in seconds. For range sessions, you can practice straight off the screen with no other device.
3. Connect for Simulation
Link the GC3S to your PC over USB-C, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet and launch FSX. Add a projector or TV via HDMI for the full sim-room experience.
4. Check Your Space
Plan at least 12'W x 9'H x 12'D for an indoor setup so you can swing every club freely. Our team can help you spec the room.
5. Add Club Markers
For club data, place a marker dot on the clubface and the cameras handle the rest. A supply comes in the box.
6. Build Your MyBag
Characterize up to 13 clubs in the Bushnell Golf app so the included Pro X3 LINK rangefinder can recommend clubs from your real numbers.

Foresight Sports GC3S Questions, Answered
The GC3S package includes the GC3S launch monitor, a Bushnell Pro X3 LINK laser rangefinder in the box, and the first year of the Gold Subscription with FSX software, 25 courses, and full club data. A supply of club markers for club data is also included.
Without any subscription, the GC3S measures ball speed, horizontal and vertical launch angles, total spin, side spin and spin axis, and carry distance. Club head speed, smash factor, angle of attack, and club path are unlocked with the Gold Subscription, and the first year is included with your purchase.
The first year of Gold is included with your GC3S purchase. After that, Gold currently renews at $499 per year and is required for FSX software access and club data. If you do not renew, the GC3S keeps measuring and displaying ball data on its built-in touchscreen.
If you choose not to renew after the included first year, the GC3S will no longer connect to FSX software, but it continues to work as a launch monitor: ball data still displays on the unit's built-in touchscreen. Renewing restores the full software suite, club data, and the 25-course library.
No ball stickers are needed. For club data, a club marker dot is applied to the clubface so the cameras can track the club through impact. A supply of club markers is included in the box.
Yes. The GC3S works indoors and outdoors. Take it to the range for full ball-flight practice, bring it on the course with the LINK-enabled rangefinder, or set it up in a sim room at home.
We recommend a minimum of 12'W x 9'H x 12'D to accommodate an indoor golf simulator setup. The exact requirements vary with the enclosure and mat you choose. Browse our golf simulator enclosures and golf simulator projectors, and our team can help you plan the room before you buy.
Both use the same triscopic three-camera tracking system. The GC3 includes ball and club data out of the box, while the GC3S starts with ball data and unlocks club data through the Gold Subscription. The GC3S is the lower entry price into Foresight camera technology; the GC3 is the buy-once option.
Connect the GC3S to your PC via USB-C, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, then link the PC to your projector or TV with an HDMI cable. The built-in touchscreen also shows your numbers directly on the unit, so a display is optional for range sessions.
