Bushnell Circle B Edition

Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator

The Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition is the most affordable camera-based launch monitor available at $1,499.99 -- the only photometric system under $1,500. Same triscopic high-speed camera system as the $2,499 Launch Pro, measuring ball and club data at impact with precision that radar systems cannot match. Tour-validated accuracy for $1,000 less.

Indoor-only unit: Requires constant power, PC, and internet. No battery. No built-in display. Not portable. The LPi drops the features you do not need in a dedicated sim room. What remains is the core that matters: 12 ball data points, 4 club metrics, and full compatibility with FSX Play, FSX Pro, and GSPro. Plug in, subscribe, and play -- no compromises on accuracy.

Available to U.S. customers ONLY. All products will be shipped and sold only to U.S. credit card bearers and U.S. addresses. The device will not work outside the U.S.

Why the Bushnell LPi Is the Best Indoor Launch Monitor Under $1,500

Triscopic Camera System

Three high-speed, high-resolution cameras with infrared capture thousands of frames per second at the moment of impact. Unlike radar systems that rely on algorithms to estimate what happened, the LPi measures directly -- the same technology trusted on professional tours worldwide.

12 Ball Data Points

Every shot captures carry distance, ball speed, total spin, launch angle, spin axis, back spin, side spin, apex, descent angle, offline distance, ball curve, and hangtime. Complete ball flight data without guesswork or interpolation.

4 Club Metrics

With the included club marker pack, track club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack. Essential data for swing improvement and club fitting. Requires club marker stickers + active Silver or Gold subscription.

Auto-Calibrating + LINK

The LPi's three-camera system calibrates itself automatically every time you power on. No manual alignment, no tripod adjustments. Plus, LINK-enabled technology sends slope-compensated distances directly to a compatible Bushnell laser rangefinder -- bridging your sim data with on-course performance.

Side-of-Ball Placement

The LPi sits beside the hitting area, not behind it. No need for extra room depth behind the ball like radar units require. Ideal for tighter indoor spaces where every inch of room depth matters.

Launch Pro Accuracy, $1,000 Less

Identical camera hardware and identical accuracy to the Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B ($2,499). The LPi drops the battery and display -- features you do not need in a dedicated sim room -- and passes the savings to you.

Club Data

Bushnell LPi Club Metrics

Club data tracked with every swing.

Requires included club marker stickers + active Silver or Gold subscription.

Club Head Speed Head speed at the moment of impact

Smash Factor Energy transfer efficiency from club to ball
Club Path Swing direction through impact (in/out)
Ball Data

What the LPi Tracks on Every Shot

Back Spin / Side Spin RPM on both axes for full spin picture
Vertical Launch Angle Upward angle off the clubface
Horizontal Launch Angle Left/right direction at launch

Who It's For

Is the Bushnell LPi Right for You?

Dedicated Sim Room Builder

You are building a permanent indoor simulator setup with a PC, projector, enclosure, and impact screen. You do not need a battery or portable display -- you need the most accurate data at the lowest possible price for a camera-based system.

Budget-Conscious Accuracy Seeker

You refuse to compromise on data quality, but the $2,499 Launch Pro or $3,799 GC3S stretches the budget. The LPi gives you identical Foresight camera accuracy for $1,499.99 -- the entry point into tour-level photometrics.

Data-Driven Practice Player

You want to track spin rates, launch angles, and club path to identify swing patterns and measure improvement over time. The LPi's 12 ball data points and 4 club metrics give you the numbers that move the needle.

GSPro and FSX Enthusiast

You want access to GSPro's 200,000+ courses or FSX Play's built-in library for realistic round play. The LPi with a Gold subscription unlocks both platforms -- the same software ecosystem as the Launch Pro and GC3.

0 Total Data Points Per Shot

12 ball metrics plus 4 club metrics captured at the moment of impact by three high-speed cameras. No algorithms. No estimation. Direct measurement -- the same technology used for PGA Tour club fitting. Club data requires included stickers + active subscription.

Setup Guide

Get Started with Your Bushnell LPi

Six steps to get your simulator running from day one.

Connect to Power

The LPi requires a dedicated power outlet -- there is no internal battery. Place the unit beside the ball on the hitting mat, plug in the A/C adapter, and it powers on immediately with no warm-up time.

Connect to Your PC

Use the included Ethernet cable (recommended) or USB-C cable to connect the LPi to your simulator PC. Ethernet provides the most stable connection for uninterrupted gameplay. Wi-Fi is also supported for lighter use.

Activate Your Subscription

Your LPi includes a 14-day free Gold trial. Activate it to unlock all ball and club data, 25 courses, and FSX Pro analytics. After the trial, choose Silver ($199/yr) or Gold ($499/yr) based on your needs.

Apply Club Markers

Place a club marker dot from the included 48-piece pack on each clubface you want to track. This is required for the LPi to measure club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack.

Use the Alignment Stick

The included alignment stick helps you position the LPi at the correct distance and angle relative to the ball. Proper alignment ensures accurate data on every shot. The unit auto-calibrates once positioned.

Launch Your Sim Software

Open FSX Play for round play or FSX Pro for practice analytics. With a Gold subscription, you can also connect GSPro (sold separately) for access to 200,000+ community-built courses and online play.

Tour-Level Accuracy. $1,499.99.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Bushnell LPi and the Launch Pro?

The LPi and Launch Pro Circle B Edition use the same triscopic high-speed camera system and deliver identical accuracy. The difference is form factor: the Launch Pro ($2,499) includes a rechargeable battery and built-in display for outdoor portability, while the LPi ($1,499.99) is plug-in only with no display -- designed for golfers who will use it exclusively indoors connected to a PC. If your unit lives in a sim room, the LPi saves you $1,000 with zero compromise on data quality.

What ball and club data does the Bushnell LPi measure?

The LPi measures 12 ball data points: carry distance, ball speed, total spin, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle, spin tilt axis, back spin, side spin, ball apex, ball descent angle, ball offline, ball curve, and hangtime. With the included club markers and an active subscription, it also captures 4 club metrics: club head speed, smash factor, club path (in/out), and angle of attack.

Do I need a subscription to use the LPi?

Yes. The LPi requires at least a Silver subscription ($199/year) to unlock ball and club data and simulation capabilities. Without a subscription, the unit has limited functionality. The LPi includes a 14-day free Gold trial so you can experience the full platform before choosing a tier. Silver gives you full data and 5 courses. Gold ($499/year) adds 25 courses, FSX Pro analytics, and GSPro compatibility (GSPro license sold separately).

Is the Bushnell LPi the same technology as the Foresight Sports GC3?

Yes. The Bushnell LPi is built on Foresight Sports technology and uses the same core camera engine as the Foresight GC3S. The primary differences are branding, software ecosystem, and pricing. Both deliver the same level of ball-tracking accuracy using photometric camera technology. The LPi connects to Bushnell's FSX platform, while the GC3 uses Foresight's native software.

Can I use the Bushnell LPi outdoors?

No. The Bushnell LPi is designed exclusively for indoor use. It must be connected to a power outlet, internet, and PC at all times. It has no battery and no built-in display for standalone outdoor use. The device also requires a U.S. internet connection at least once every 45 days to maintain full functionality. If you need a launch monitor that works both indoors and outdoors, consider the Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition ($2,499), which adds a battery and display for full portability.

How much space do I need for a Bushnell LPi simulator setup?

We recommend a minimum of 12 feet wide x 9 feet high x 12 feet deep for a comfortable golf simulator setup. The LPi sits beside the ball (not behind it), so you do not need extra room depth behind the hitting area like radar-based units require. Exact space requirements vary depending on your enclosure and mat choice. Call us at 1-888-871-6110 for help planning your layout.

What PC do I need to run the Bushnell LPi?

Minimum requirements: 64-bit Windows, 7th Gen or newer Intel i5/i7/i9 processor (AMD CPUs not recommended), 8 GB RAM (16 GB+ recommended), and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or better (RTX 3070 Ti/3080/3090 recommended for optimal performance). AMD GPUs and Nvidia Quadro cards are not supported. iOS and Linux are not supported. Need a sim PC? Check out our SurfThing simulator computers -- purpose-built for golf sim software.

Do I need club stickers to use the LPi?

Club stickers are required only for club data (club head speed, smash factor, club path, angle of attack). Ball data does not require stickers. The LPi includes a 48-piece club marker pack in the box. Apply one marker per clubface -- they are designed to stay in place through many sessions.

What software is compatible with the Bushnell LPi?

The LPi works with FSX Play (included with Silver or Gold subscription) for realistic round play with 3D ball flight and course graphics. FSX Pro (included with Gold) provides advanced performance analytics for practice and club fitting. With a Gold subscription, you can also connect GSPro (sold separately, $250/year) for access to 200,000+ community-built courses and online multiplayer. Additional 1st and 3rd-party software options are available through the Gold tier.

How does the Bushnell LPi compare to the SkyTrak+?

Both are camera-based launch monitors that measure 12 ball data points and 4 club metrics with stickers. The key differences: the LPi ($1,499.99) is $1,000 less than the SkyTrak+ ($2,495). The LPi sits beside the ball (side-of-ball placement) while the SkyTrak+ sits behind it. The SkyTrak+ works indoors and outdoors with a rechargeable battery and does not require a paid subscription for basic data. The LPi is indoor-only and requires a Silver ($199/yr) or Gold ($499/yr) subscription to access data. If you have a dedicated sim room and want the most accuracy per dollar, the LPi wins. If you need outdoor portability and prefer no subscription, the SkyTrak+ is the better choice.

What is the total cost of ownership for the Bushnell LPi?

Year 1: $1,499.99 (device) + $0 (14-day free Gold trial included). After the trial, choose Silver at $199/year or Gold at $499/year. Year 1 total with Gold: $1,998.99. Year 1 total with Silver: $1,698.99. Each subsequent year costs $199 (Silver) or $499 (Gold). If you want GSPro access, add $250/year (requires Gold). A gaming PC is also required if you do not already own one -- see our SurfThing computers for purpose-built options.

Does the Bushnell LPi measure face angle?

No. The LPi does not measure clubface angle at impact. It tracks club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack -- but face angle is not included. This is a limitation shared with the Bushnell Launch Pro and Foresight GC3S, which use the same three-camera system. If face angle is critical for your practice or fitting needs, overhead launch monitors like the Uneekor EYE MINI or EYE XR do measure face angle.

What's included in the box with the Bushnell LPi?

The LPi ships with: Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition Launch Monitor, 48-piece club marker pack, USB-C cable, Ethernet cable, alignment stick, power cord, quick start guide, and a 14-day free Gold subscription trial. Not included: gaming PC (required to run simulator software), Silver or Gold software subscription (required for ball/club data and simulation), and GSPro license (sold separately, requires active Gold subscription).

Which courses are included with LPi subscriptions?

The Silver subscription includes 5 pre-selected courses. The Gold subscription includes 25 courses: Beaver Hills Country Club, Blue Bayou, Butterfield Country Club, Broken Tree Golf Course, Linfield National, Willow Crest, Tall Pines, Teton Pines, The Farms Golf Club, Kinsale Golf & Fitness, Awbrey Glen, Barren Boulders Executive, Black Rock, Detroit Country Club, Glen Flora, Greencastle, Meadowbrook, Mill Creek, Potter's Park, Prairie Bluff, Sunnyside Golf & Country Club, The Bedens Brook Club, Twin Run, Wellington National, and Tropical Paradise Executive. Additional courses available through GSPro (sold separately).

Does Top Shelf Golf offer financing for the Bushnell LPi?

Yes. Top Shelf Golf offers financing through Affirm with flexible monthly payment options. Select Affirm at checkout to check your rate -- it takes seconds and won't affect your credit score. 0% APR options may be available depending on eligibility.

What is the warranty & return policy for the Bushnell LPi?

Bushnell Warranty: Your Bushnell Golf LPi is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the date of purchase. In the event of a defect under this warranty, Bushnell will, at their option, repair or replace the product, provided that you return it postage prepaid. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling, or non-authorized repairs.

Return Policy: LPi device returns accepted within 30 days of shipment, subject to a 20% restocking fee. For additional details, see our Return Policy.
