Foresight Sports is photometric -- camera-based, not radar. Every model uses high-speed cameras positioned beside the ball (or overhead, in the case of the Falcon) to photograph the ball and club directly through impact. The GC3 ($5,999) is a triscopic three-camera unit that delivers full ball and club data with no subscription -- it is the most popular Foresight and ideal for home simulation and practice. The GCQuad ($11,999) adds a fourth camera and fitting-grade metrics the GC3 does not measure: Loft & Lie, Face Angle, Impact Location, and Closure Rate -- and it is markerless. It depends on the model. The GC3 and GC3S use a small marker dot on the clubface to read club data. The GCQuad, QuadMAX, and Falcon are fully markerless -- no dots, no prep, just step up and swing.
