Golf Impact Bag Review: Our Take
Buy the Golf Impact Bag by Dr. Gary Wiren if you want to feel a solid impact position, with forward shaft lean, a square face and a firm lead side, for $54.99.
It fits golfers who cast, scoop or let the lead wrist break down at impact and want to drill it at home. Best for a smooth short-game tempo instead: the Lag Shot Wedge.
- Instant feedback by feel on whether the club arrives online and square.
- Targets casting, scooping and lead wrist collapse at impact.
- Much safer to hit than a tire or another hard surface.
- You fill it yourself, so it is easy to take from the garage to the range.
- Ships unfilled: you pack it firmly with towels, blankets, clothes or rags, and avoid sand or overly heavy materials.
- It focuses on the impact position; for arm-body connection on every shot, The Connector by Sure-Golf comes with 100+ video lessons.
- It gives feedback by feel only; it does not measure speed, path or face angle.
