Golf Simulator Floating Screen Package

Build a full projected simulator around The Net Return Simulator Series Golf Net & Screen. Pick the screen width, add a launch monitor, mat and projector, and the page prices it as you go.

The Simulator Series uses a floating polyester impact screen that eliminates bounce back on even the hardest shots. The entire bay is covered in high-density netting, including behind the screen, with side barriers and rear and side black nylon valences. It works with any golf simulator software, and it doubles as a big screen for movies, football and video games. One person can set it up in under 45 minutes with push button Quick Color Connect assembly. Every size includes the net and screen, side barriers and 4 sandbags.

How to build yours

• Launch Monitor. The screen shows the shot; the launch monitor measures it. Choose from the Swing Caddie SC4 PRO, Garmin R10, Rapsodo MLM2PRO, FlightScope Mevo Gen2, SkyTrak ST MAX and more, or select "I don't need a launch monitor" if you already own one. Match the unit to the software you want to run. The Garmin R10, for example, works with the Garmin Golf app, GSPro and E6.
• Impact Screen (required). Three widths. The 8' has a footprint of 8'W x 8'10"H x 3'6"D, a 7'2"W x 8'3"H screen and needs 12'W x 9'H x 12'D of space. The 10' has a 10'W footprint, a 9'2"W x 8'3"H screen and needs 12'W x 9'H x 14'D. The 12' has a 12'W footprint, an 11'2"W x 8'3"H screen and needs 14'W x 9'H x 15'D. Wider means a bigger picture and more room for mishits, but check your depth: the projector mounts 4'10", 6'2" or 7'5" from the screen for the 8', 10' and 12' respectively.
• Hitting Mat (required). The Fiberbuilt Performance Turf Tee Box Mat is 8'W x 4'L. The Fiberbuilt 7'x4' Single-Hitting and 9'x4' Center-Hitting Studio Mats are engineered to give the same ball flight as a real grass fairway and virtually eliminate turf shock. Already have a mat? Pick that option and save.
• Landing Pad. Cushions the ball as it drops off the screen and protects the floor. The 13'W x 8'L pad fits a 12'W bay; the 14.5'W x 8'L pad fits a 13.5'W bay. Choose the one that matches the width you selected.
• Projector (required). The Simulator Series is specified for a 0.5:1 throw ratio. Each projector in the list shows its throw ratio in the name, so compare it to that spec and to the mounting distances above. The BenQ AH500ST (0.5:1) and LK830ST (0.496:1) sit right on it. From there it is brightness and resolution: 3000-lumen 1080p models like the TH671ST and AH30ST LED, 4000-lumen 1080p laser models like the AH500ST and AH700ST, and 4000-lumen 4K laser models like the LK830ST and AK700ST. Laser and LED units are for people who want long lamp life; 4K is for people who want the sharpest course graphics.
• Projector Ceiling Mount. Add it unless you already have a way to hang the projector at the correct distance.
• Gaming Computer. Needed for Windows software such as GSPro. Choose the SurfThing PC (Core Ultra 5, RTX 5070 Ti) or Laptop (Core Ultra 9, RTX 5070). Skip it if you will run an iPad or phone app.
• Touch Screen Monitor. The SurfThing 23.8" 1080p touch monitor lets you control the software from the hitting area.

Before you order

Simulator Screen sales are final and no returns are accepted. The screen is white polyester fabric that can smudge or stain if handled improperly, so measure twice and pick your width carefully. Room height is the usual limit: every size needs a 9' ceiling. Then confirm depth, including the projector mounting distance and your own swing room.

Why the floating screen

A tight screen sends the ball back at you. The Simulator Series lets the screen float inside the netted bay so the ball drops instead of rebounding. The 1.5" tubular aluminum frame is lightweight and rugged, the netting is commercial grade UV treated black polyester rather than nylon, and the whole thing is handcrafted in the USA.
