Golf Simulator Projector and Launch Monitor Mounts
Ceiling and floor mounts for golf simulator projectors and overhead launch monitors. Short throw projectors and overhead launch monitors both have to sit at a specific height to work properly, and the bracket in the box rarely gets you there on a tall ceiling. These mounts do.
How to pick a drop length. Measure from your finished ceiling down to where the unit body needs to sit. Projectors usually want to be just above the top of the screen. Overhead launch monitors have a height the manufacturer specifies, and the Uneekor EYE XR for example has to sit 9 to 10 feet off the floor. Subtract, and the answer is your drop. Extenders telescope, so each one covers a range: 6 to 9 inches, 12 to 18 inches, 2 to 3 feet, or 3 to 5 feet.
Flat plate or angled plate. Look at the surface you are drilling into. Level takes the flat plate. Sloped, vaulted or a pitched garage rafter takes the angled plate, which corrects for the pitch so the mount still hangs vertical.
