The difference is the display: the M7 GPS Remote adds a 3.5-inch GPS touchscreen with 40,000+ pre-loaded courses, 3D hole flyovers, Bluetooth smartphone notifications, and Wi-Fi updates, while the M7 Remote has a 2.8-inch LCD widescreen and no GPS. The M7 Remote's handset has a range of over 100 meters (approximately 330 feet). That is more than enough to send the caddy ahead to the green from the fairway, steer it around bunkers and obstacles, or call it back to your position. The handset provides forward, left, right, and reverse control with 9 speed settings so you can match the caddy's pace to your walk or send it ahead faster.

Range depends on your course, the terrain and how you use the remote. Motocaddy does not publish a hole count for the twin-motor M7 and recommends topping up the 28V CLICK 'N' CONNECT lithium battery between rounds whenever possible. The battery fully charges from empty in under 5 hours and connects to the caddy without any cables: just click it into place.

EASILOCK is Motocaddy's proprietary bag-to-caddy connection system. Instead of a lower bag strap, EASILOCK uses pins fitted to the base of compatible bags. You place the bag on the caddy, the pins locate in two holes on the lower bag support, and it locks into position with a click. The upper bag strap still holds the top of the bag. The M7 is EASILOCK compatible: any Motocaddy bag with an EASILOCK base (like the Dry-Series Cart Bag) will work. You can still use standard golf bags with the included strap system if you prefer.

The M7 Remote has two dedicated systems for hill performance. Automatic Downhill Control (DHC) detects when the caddy is going downhill and automatically reduces speed to prevent it from running away. Adaptive Terrain Stability (ATS) adjusts the left and right motor output independently to maintain a straight path on side slopes and uneven terrain. Combined with 360-degree rotating front tyres and twin 230W motors, the M7 handles the steepest courses with confidence.
