The Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition DIY Enclosure Golf Simulator is a complete home golf simulator package built around the Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition launch monitor: a Carl's Place DIY enclosure with a premium impact screen in six sizes, a Real Feel hitting mat, and a short-throw laser projector with its ceiling mount. Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition
Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition is an indoor-only launch monitor using the same three-camera photometric technology as the Launch Pro but at a lower cost, thanks to a plug-in design without a built-in display or battery. While the Launch Pro works both indoors and outdoors, the LPi is purpose-built for home simulators and requires a connected device for readouts. The Free tier provides Limited App Access with core ball data, while the Silver plan ($199/year) unlocks full club data, unlimited session history, drills, and Course Pass eligibility. The Gold plan ($599/year) includes everything in Silver plus swing video capture, multiple profiles, and integration with GSPro (sold separately) for expansive simulator play. Course play in Foresight Premier runs on a Course Pass ($295/year for 35 courses, or $595/year for the full library), and every new unit includes a 30-day free trial. Carl's Place DIY Enclosure
The Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure builds a clean, fully contained hitting bay. Every size in this package ships with the triple-layer Premium impact screen, a pre-cut 1-inch EMT pipe framing kit, foam inserts, a pair of 8 ft net wall extensions and an overhead safety baffle. BlackStop light-absorbing fabric keeps the picture bright with less bounce-back.
Room minimum, to the inch. Width is Carl's overall frame plus a 3 in buffer on each side; height is the frame plus 3 in above; depth is 12 in behind the frame, the 67.375 in frame, 5 ft 1 in from the frame to the tee (10 ft from the screen, the closest Carl's says to hit from) and 5 ft behind the tee to swing, which is 16 ft 9 in for every size; Carl's Place recommends 7 ft behind the tee for a full driver swing, which makes it 18 ft 9 in. Figures are rounded up to the next inch.
Hitting mat
The package ships with the Real Feel Country Club Elite Golf Mat, 5'W x 5'L. Its long, dense fibers let you swing down and through the turf the way you would off a fairway, it takes a real wooden tee, and the base absorbs the strike so your joints do not.

The Tour Landing Pad cushions and quiets balls dropping off the screen, keeps them from scuffing the floor, and bridges the gap between the mat and the enclosure. The builder offers the width that matches your bay, always 8 ft long:

Projector and ceiling mount
The Optoma ZW350ST is the included projector: 3,600 lumens, a 30,000-hour DuraCore laser with no bulb to replace, and a 0.521:1 short throw, so it mounts close to the screen and out of the swing. Seven BenQ short-throw projectors are available in the builder, from the 1080p TH671ST to the 5,100-lumen 4K LK936ST, and the ceiling mount switches to the right model for whichever projector you choose. Remove the projector and the mount goes with it. The projector calculator shows the mount distance for your screen size.

Simulation software such as GSPro, E6 Connect and FSX Play needs a gaming-class computer, and the one you pick here arrives ready for it. SurfThing builds them for golf simulation: 32GB DDR5, a 2TB SSD and an NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPU, in a desktop tower or a laptop. With the desktop PC, add the SurfThing DT2424H 23.8-inch touch screen to start rounds, review data and scrub swing video without walking back to a keyboard. It is not offered with the laptop, which has its own screen.

Which Enclosure Fits the Bushnell LPi?
The Bushnell LPi sits beside the ball, level with the hitting surface, so it adds no depth behind you. Room depth below comes from each format's own net or screen setup and swing clearance, not from the LPi.
Net
The LPi sits beside the ball rather than behind it, but the golfer's swing still needs clearance behind the ball: Carl's Place gives 4 ft as a minimum and recommends about 7 ft.
Floating Screen
Every width of the Net Return Floating Screen Simulator Bay fits at 14 ft, with 18 ft for a full driver swing. The LPi sits beside the ball at that same depth.
DIY Enclosure
The Carl's DIY kit fits at 16 ft 9 in, with 18 ft 9 in for a full driver swing. The LPi sits beside the ball rather than behind it, so it adds nothing on top of that figure.
Pro Enclosure
The Pro enclosure needs at least 16 ft 0 in of room depth, and a launch monitor beside the ball adds nothing to it.
Curved Screen
Also at least 16 ft 0 in. Carl's curved kits run 14 ft to 17 ft wide, which leaves room on either side of a centered tee for the LPi beside the ball.
Built-In Screen
Carl's plans a Built-In room as 12 in behind the screen for buffer space plus 6 in to install the flaps, at least 10 ft from the screen and 7 ft of swing room in every direction. The LPi sits beside the ball.

Your launch monitor, projector and computer are covered by their manufacturer's warranty from the date of the original purchase, subject to its conditions and limitations. Carl's Place screens and enclosure materials are wearable goods, so they do not carry a warranty. Some marking and wear from the first sessions is normal, and how long a screen lasts depends on skill level, how often you play and how it is installed. If something looks unusual rather than like normal wear, send us photos and your order number and we will take it up with Carl's Place.
All impact screen sales are final with no returns. Because fit and material choice matter, measure your space before ordering.
