Launch Monitor Ceiling Drop-Mount Kit
Overhead launch monitors have to hang at a specific height to read the ball correctly. On a tall ceiling the bracket in the box will not get you there, because it screws flat to the joist. This kit drops the unit to the height the manufacturer asks for.
Everything ships together: the ceiling plate, a telescoping extender in the length you pick, the Peerless precision-gear mount, and the bracket cut for your specific launch monitor. Rated to 50 lbs.
Flat Plate or Angled Plate?
Look up at the surface you are drilling into. Level, choose Flat. Sloped in any direction, choose Angled. That is the whole decision.
Flat Ceiling Plate
The round plate in the picture. It bolts flush against a level ceiling and the extender hangs straight down from it. This is the right pick for most finished rooms, basements and garages with a flat ceiling.
Angled Ceiling Plate
The wedge-shaped bracket. It is built for a ceiling that slopes: vaulted, cathedral, or an unfinished garage where you are anchoring to a pitched rafter. It corrects for the pitch so the extender still hangs vertical instead of leaning with the roof. It adds $26.
A tilted mount is not a small problem. The whole point of the drop is to put the unit level and square, and a plate that follows the roof line fights you on every adjustment.
Pick Your Drop Length
6 to 9 inches
Ceilings already close to the target height.
12 to 18 inches
The common case for a 10 to 11 foot ceiling.
2 to 3 feet
Garage and basement ceilings around 11 to 12 feet.
3 to 5 feet
Tall rooms and commercial bays.
Measure from your finished ceiling down to where the launch monitor body needs to sit, then choose the extender that covers it. Extenders telescope, so each one spans a range rather than a fixed length.
Worked example. A Uneekor EYE XR has to sit 9 to 10 feet off the floor. In a room with an 11 foot 6 inch ceiling that is a drop of 18 to 30 inches, so either the 12 to 18 inch or the 2 to 3 foot extender fits, depending on where in the range you want to land.

The bracket in the box mounts flat against the ceiling. That works when your ceiling happens to sit at the height the manufacturer specifies. When it does not, the unit ends up too high and accuracy suffers. Uneekor says it plainly in the EYE XR manual: if your ceiling height falls outside 9 to 10 feet, you need a ceiling drop mount. This is that part.

Anchor the plate to a joist, thread the extender, hang the mount, then align. Run power and a network drop to the ceiling before the enclosure goes up. It is far easier while the room is still open.
