What is the Alphard Cybercart?

The Cybercart is Alphard Golf's all-in-one remote caddy. Alphard says it draws on 15 years of making remote-controlled caddies, and it is assembled in the USA.

Alphard's earlier Club Booster adds motors to a push cart you already own. The Cybercart puts the motors, battery and frame in one folding unit.

Award: MyGolfSpy named it the Best Overall electric push cart of 2026, repeating its 2025 win.

How far does the Cybercart remote reach?

Alphard does not publish a remote range in feet or yards. The remote talks to the cart over 2.4G RF, and the cart stops on its own if it moves out of range.

  • Speed: press Go once to move forward and again to speed up; the top speed is 6.
  • Turning: press Left or Right Turn while stopped to pivot, or press and hold either one while moving to steer.
  • Keypad lock: Alphard says to always use the keypad lock when the cart is stationary, so pocket presses do not trigger the remote.
  • Backup: the Alphard phone app works as a spare remote and installs firmware updates.

Once the phone app or a Bluetooth accessory such as Sidekick is connected, it has priority over the radio remote. Press Stop on the remote to cancel that connection and let the remote take over.

How long does the Cybercart battery last?

Alphard rates the battery for up to 36 holes, and its warranty guarantees at least 18 holes per charge. That guarantee assumes a golf bag of 33 lb (15 kg) or less, a standard course, normal terrain and fair weather.

  • In testing: the Today's Golfer reviewer found it easily manages 36 holes on one charge.
  • What cuts range: low temperatures, steep hills, thick grass and muddy or soft ground, according to Alphard.
  • Parking: parking perpendicular to a slope reduces the power the electronic brake uses.

How heavy is the Cybercart and how does it fold?

Alphard lists the cart at 37 lb plus a 3 lb battery. Folded, it measures 25 x 20 x 17.7 in.

  • Battery stays in: it slides into the frame, so you can fold without removing it.
  • Folding: press the release latch on the main hinge, then reverse the three unfolding steps in the manual.
  • Lifting: Today's Golfer notes the folded cart does not lock, so it can start to unfold if you pick it up by the handlebar.

How does the Cybercart handle hills?

The 6-axis gyroscope is on by default and holds a straight heading across side slopes. Downhill speed control keeps the cart from running away, and the parking brake holds it when it stops.

  • Anti-tip bars: ship pre-installed at the rear.
  • Gyro off: turn it off from the remote when you want to steer by hand, since the gyro fights manual steering.
  • Freewheel: hold Stop for 3 seconds to push it like a manual cart. The parking brake is off in this mode.
  • Never tow it: pulling it behind a riding cart damages the motors and voids the warranty.

Today's Golfer found the two stabilizing wheels work well to prevent tipping when traveling uphill.

What comes in the box?

Every accessory below is included, according to Alphard's packing list and product page.

Alphard Cybercart storage console with the lid open

  • Remote with magnetic belt clip, smart charger and USB-C cable
  • Battery and pre-installed anti-tip bars
  • Phone, cup, umbrella and scorecard holders
  • Sand bottle holder (bottle not included)
  • 6 months of premium Hole 19 GPS and stat app

One gripe: Today's Golfer found the umbrella holder cannot secure a narrow-handled umbrella, so it blew out in the wind.

Can the Cybercart follow you?

Not on its own. Follow mode comes from Alphard's Sidekick, sold separately or in a Cybercart + Sidekick bundle.

  • Modes: the cart follows on your left, your right or behind.
  • Start: it begins following once you walk more than 6 feet away from the Sidekick.
  • Range: Alphard says follow range is typically 30 yards, depending on elevation.
  • Where: use follow on fairways and switch to the remote on cart paths and near greens.

Alphard Cybercart pros and cons

Pros Cons
Gyro tracking, downhill control and anti-tip bars for hilly courses About 40 lb to lift with the battery
Accessories included rather than sold as extras No built-in GPS screen; GPS comes from the included Hole 19 phone app
Battery folds inside the frame Less grip on wet grass, per Today's Golfer
Pushes easily with the power off Umbrella holder cannot grip narrow handles
Follow mode can be added later Tire tread is a wear item the warranty does not cover

Is the Alphard Cybercart right for you?

MyGolfSpy's review says don't buy it if a built-in LCD screen or GPS is on your wishlist, since your smartphone likely covers GPS. Otherwise, weigh it against the other remote caddies we carry.
