Launch Monitor
Foresight Sports GCQuad
The Foresight Sports GCQuad uses a quadrascopic imaging system: four high-speed cameras that capture thousands of images per second to measure ball and club data, from launch angle, spin and carry distance to club-head speed, path, face angle and impact location.
- Club Data
- Club Head Speed
- Smash Factor
- Club Path
- Angle of Attack
- Loft/Lie
- Face Angle
- Impact Location
- Closure Rate
- Ball speed
- Horizontal & vertical launch angles
- Back spin

Impact Screen
The Net Return Floating Screen Simulator Bay floating screen
A tight screen sends the ball back at you. The Floating Screen Simulator Bay lets the polyester impact screen float inside the netted bay, which minimizes ball rebound, so the bay can be used in tighter, smaller spaces. The entire bay is covered in high-density netting, including behind the screen, with side barriers and rear and side valances.
- Lightweight, rugged 1.5" tubular aluminum frame
- Commercial grade, UV treated black polyester netting (not nylon)
- One person sets it up in under 45 minutes with push button Quick Color Connect assembly
- Works with any golf simulator software, and doubles as a big screen for movies, football and video games
Screen Widths
Three widths, one 9 ft ceiling
Wider means a bigger picture and more room for mishits. Every width stands 8'6" tall and 3'6" deep, needs a 9 ft ceiling and fits at 14 ft of room depth, with 18 ft for a full driver swing, and can sit 6" from a wall. The Net Return puts depth for a full swing at 14 to 22 ft, depending on your height, club length and launch monitor. The Foresight Sports GCQuad sits beside the ball, not behind it. Then confirm depth, including the projector mounting distance and your own swing room.
| Spec | 8' Wide | 10' Wide | 12' Wide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Footprint | 8'W x 8'6"H x 3'6"D | 10'W x 8'6"H x 3'6"D | 12'W x 8'6"H x 3'6"D |
| Minimum room | 10'W x 9'H x 14'D | 12'W x 9'H x 14'D | 14'W x 9'H x 14'D |
*Note: Impact screens can be returned unused, but not once they have been hit. The screen is white polyester fabric that can smudge or stain if handled improperly, so measure your space before ordering.
Hitting Mat
Hitting mat
The package ships with the Real Feel Country Club Elite Golf Mat, 5'W x 5'L. Its long, dense fibers let you swing down and through like a real fairway, and it takes a real wooden tee.
The Fiberbuilt 7'x4' Single-Hitting and 9'x4' Center-Hitting Studio Mats are engineered to give the same ball flight as a real grass fairway and virtually eliminate turf shock.
Three Fiberbuilt mats are one click away in the builder, or choose "I already have a mat" to remove it:
- Fiberbuilt Performance Turf Tee Box Mat, 8'W x 4'L: tee up anywhere on the mat with a real tee
- Fiberbuilt 7'x4' Grass Series Single-Hitting Studio Mat: 300,000-shot guarantee in a space-saving footprint
- Fiberbuilt 9'x4' Grass Series Center-Hitting Studio Mat: fits right- and left-handed players, 300,000-shot guarantee
Landing Pad
Optional: Tour Golf Landing Pad
The Tour Landing Pad cushions and quiets balls dropping off the screen, and keeps them from scuffing floors or rolling under it. It is not selected by default. Tick it and the builder adds the width that matches your screen:
- 9'W x 8'L for the 8' Wide screen
- 11'W x 8'L for the 10' Wide screen
- 13'W x 8'L for the 12' Wide screen
Projector
Projector and ceiling mount
The package includes the Optoma ZW350ST, a 0.521:1 short-throw projector with 3,600 lumens and a 30,000-hour DuraCore laser, so there is no bulb to replace. The ceiling mount is included.
Upgrades to 1080p and 4K BenQ short-throw projectors are available in the builder, and the ceiling mount switches to match the one you choose.
Computer
Optional: SurfThing gaming computer and touch screen
Windows simulation software such as GSPro needs a gaming-class computer. SurfThing builds them for golf simulation, in a desktop tower or a laptop. With the desktop PC, add the SurfThing DT2424H touch screen to start rounds, review data and scrub swing video from the hitting area. Course play in Foresight Premier needs a Windows PC.
- SurfThing Enhanced Level PC: Core Ultra 5 with RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD
- SurfThing Enhanced Level Laptop: Core Ultra 9 with RTX 5070, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD
- SurfThing DT2424H 23.8" Touch Screen Monitor, 1080p, 75Hz (with the desktop PC)

FAQ
Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator Questions
What comes in the Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator?
The base package is the Foresight Sports GCQuad launch monitor, The Net Return Floating Screen Simulator Bay (8' Wide, with side barriers), a Real Feel Country Club Elite Mat 5'W x 5'L, an Optoma ZW350ST short-throw laser projector and its ceiling mount. The 10' and 12' widths are one click away, and a landing pad, gaming computer and touch screen are added in the builder.
Can I use the Foresight Sports GCQuad indoors and outdoors?
Yes - the GCQuad works reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments.
How much room does the Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator need?
Every width needs a 9 ft ceiling and fits at 14 ft of room depth, with 18 ft for a full driver swing. Width is 10 ft for the 8' screen, 12 ft for the 10' and 14 ft for the 12'. The frame itself stands 8'6" tall and 3'6" deep and can sit 6" from a wall. The Net Return puts depth for a full swing at 14 to 22 ft, depending on your height, club length and launch monitor. The Foresight Sports GCQuad sits beside the ball, not behind it.
Which screen width should I choose?
Pick the widest one your room allows. Wider means a bigger picture and more room for mishits. All three are the same height and depth, so width is the only thing that changes.
Which projector works with the Floating Screen Simulator Bay?
The Net Return recommends a short-throw projector for the Floating Screen Simulator Bay. The included Optoma ZW350ST is 0.521:1, and the BenQ AH500ST (0.5:1) and LK830ST (0.496:1) are short-throw units as well. Laser and LED units are for people who want long light-source life; 4K is for people who want the sharpest course graphics.
Does the Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator include simulation software or a computer?
The Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator does not include a computer; a gaming computer is optional in the builder. Every new GCQuad ships with 30 days of Foresight+ Gold for Foresight Premier; after the trial, simulation needs a Foresight+ membership, and third-party software such as GSPro is licensed separately. The SurfThing PC and laptop offered here are built for GSPro, E6 Connect and FSX Play.
How long does the Floating Screen Simulator Bay take to set up?
One person can set it up in under 45 minutes with push button Quick Color Connect assembly.
How fast does the Foresight Sports GCQuad Floating Screen Golf Simulator ship?
Most items usually ship within 1-3 business days when in stock. Manufacturer delays can happen; we email tracking the moment it ships. Shipping is free on most orders within the contiguous 48 states (some exceptions apply). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Foresight Sports GC3 Sim-In-A-Box Birdie PLUS Golf Simulator Package
I purchased the GC3 Foresight through Top Shelf. The bay I purchased directly from Net Return and the Epson 2250 projector came from Best Buy. I already owned the mat as I was hitting into a GoSports net. After reviewing the total package price from Top Shelf I determined I was able to save money by purchasing each item separately instead of getting the complete package offered on their website. I spoke with Top Shelf about the cost difference (particularly the net) and their response was quick and polite. Essentially they informed me that the manufacturer forced them to not provide discounts. Personally that harms Top Shelf's business because the manufacturer did provide a discount to me directly but they apparently don't pass on the discount through a 3rd party seller. It isn't fair to Top Shelf honestly. As for the GC3 monitor it was bought from Top Shelf. It lasted only 3 days before needing repair. It stopped turning on, and I was required to send it to Foresight as Top Shelf would not exchange the unit. That resulted in a 3 week hiatus which was a bit frustrating after spending a great deal of money. Top Shelf did provide me with Foresights directly line for technical support as I was unable to locate one on Foresight's website. That turned out to speed up the repair process immensely. Foresight determined that the I/O board was bad, and that seems to be a known issue after discussions with Foresight. They replaced the board with something newer and then returned it with overnighted shipping. Foresight did try their best to speed up the process considering the unit was brand new with hardly any use, including the speedy return shipping. As the video shows I have a size issue with our room. I needed a Bay to fit inside the house on our second floor in a fairly small space. Fortunately Net Return made a bay that would fit that space. They were the only manufacturer I could find that produced a bay that was only 8 feet wide and under 9 feet high. The one downside to the design however is the white curtain. The top has a Velcro strip sown all the way across that is utilized to attach the top portion of the net. The end result is a curtain that will not hang flat, but more like a draped curtain with minor folds. You can see them in the video. No amount of ironing, etc. will get them removed as it's a problem when you sow two different materials together. I was however able to attached some extra Velcro strips between the upper side polls and the curtain that provides extra tension. This helped reduce the size and number of the folds, but did not remove them entirely. The Epson projector is located on the right side wall and to the rear. I didn't require a short throw, so that saved me some $$. It is also plenty bright, plus has very good clarity and contrast. The full setup did take some extensive time to finalize as I need a specific throw ratio, keystone, brightness, and zoom capability to have the screen size work correctly for the space. I went through 2 additional projectors trying to find something that would work. Ultimately the Epson fit the bill perfectly and is below $1000. The PC setup is a Dell Precision Workstation with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 12GB video card I also bought off Amazon. It runs incredibly fast as you can tell in the video and for the price it can't be beat. Like the other items above I researched this heavily. I wanted the simulator to respond quickly with no delay. So far I have been testing different balls spin rates and compressions to find the perfect ball for me. My Driver swing speed is around the 107 mph mark. I have since adjusted my driver, 3 wood, and 3 hybrid settings to get more distance and less spin. I have about 10-12 yards more on my driver, 5+ yards on both my 3 wood and 3 hybrid. I would buy everything above again using the exact same companies. Getting the entire setup perfect took me about 2 weeks total, and that obviously doesn't include the three weeks down time without the simulator. If you have a small space then this setup would be perfect. You will need about 11 feet of depth for this projector and the bay, which includes enough space for a full swing of the driver. If you use a short throw you could probably get everything to work within 10ft. Hopefully this review helps someone with the same challenges as I had. I was unable to find any real help online. The products are solid, work well, and the companies all responded to inquires fairly quickly. No one acted as if they would rather be doing something else each time we spoke. Everyone was very professional. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is 1) the price issue, 2) the GC3 needing warranty work, 3) the net design could be altered slightly to allow the curtain to hang flat.

The great benefit of GC Quad compared to other high quality equipment is how easy you can set up the GC Quad. You simply turn it on, align it to your target with the furnished alignment stick and boom, read to use it. Despite how easy to set it up, it is super accurate for swing speeds from 60 to 120 mph.
