Fiberbuilt Golf Mats: Studio Mats, Tee Boxes, Combo Mats and Putting Greens
Fiberbuilt builds every mat the same way: a modular shock-absorbing rubber base that locks together without tools, with the hitting surface and the stance turf as separate panels. That is why the range runs from a 4' x 4' Tee Box to a 10' x 16' combo mat with a putting green, and why a worn hitting panel is a part you replace, not a mat you throw away. Pick the hitting surface first, then the layout, then the size.
- 3 hitting surfaces: Performance Turf, Fiberbuilt Grass (300,000-shot guarantee) and Player Preferred Pure Impact (150,000-shot guarantee)
- Tee Boxes from $479, Studio Mats from $1,199, Combo Mats from $2,749
- Putting Greens from $829, five sizes, stimp 9
- Indoors or outdoors: the rubber base will not slide underfoot and the nylon turf is UV resistant
- Authorized Fiberbuilt Dealer: free shipping on most orders, Affirm financing, expert support
Three Fiberbuilt Hitting Surfaces, One Rubber Base
Every Fiberbuilt mat sits on the same modular base, so the surface is the decision. Performance Turf is the value option and takes a real tee anywhere. Fiberbuilt Grass is the range-proven surface for high shot volume. Player Preferred is the launch-monitor-tested surface for the better player.

Fiberbuilt Studio Mats: Single-Hitting and Center-Hitting
A studio mat is the full-size simulator floor: stance panels on both sides of the hitting section, all on the rubber base. Single-hitting mats put the hitting section to one side with a spacer panel for a floor launch monitor or ball tray. Center-hitting mats put it in the middle so a right-hander and a left-hander share one tee zone.

Which Fiberbuilt Mat Fits Your Room?
Order to your bay width, not your room width, and measure from the nearest obstruction rather than the wall. Each room width is the mat width plus 5 to 6 feet of swing clearance. Fiberbuilt rates the 4' x 4' Tee Box for irons only and the 5' x 5' for irons and short drivers; every other size takes tee shots down to wedges.

Fiberbuilt Golf Mat FAQ
Choose Performance Turf (the Tee Box, from $479) if you want a real tee anywhere in the turf at the lowest price. Choose Fiberbuilt Grass (studio mats from $1,199) for high shot volume; it is the surface at the world's ranges and teaching facilities and carries a 300,000-shot guarantee. Choose Player Preferred Pure Impact (from $1,399) if you play a launch monitor and want the surface Fiberbuilt tested to match real fairway launch conditions; its Vibration Absorption Layer takes 94.7% of clubhead vibration out of the strike.
Fiberbuilt Grass is the durability surface: a 1' x 4' nylon section with four tee holes, backed by a 300,000-shot guarantee and designed for high-volume hitting. Player Preferred uses the Pure Impact surface in a 2' x 4' section, launch monitor tested for realistic launch conditions, with a Vibration Absorption Layer that absorbs 94.7% of clubhead vibration and a friction-fit tee holder, backed by a 150,000-shot guarantee. Grass Series mats cost $1,199 and $1,399; Player Preferred mats cost $1,399 and $1,599.
Yes on the Tee Box, where a standard wooden tee goes into the Performance Turf anywhere on the mat. Grass Series mats have four tee holes in the Fiberbuilt Grass section, and the Fiberbuilt adjustable tee ($20 for two) pushes through those holes and slides to driver, fairway wood or iron height. Player Preferred mats use a friction-fit tee holder that fits the base holes.
Take your bay width and subtract 5 to 6 feet of swing clearance. A 12-foot bay fits the 7' x 4' single-hitting studio mat at $1,199, a 13-foot bay fits the Player Preferred 8' x 4' at $1,399, and a 14-foot bay is where center-hitting starts with the 9' x 4' at $1,399. The 4' x 4' Tee Box at $479 fits almost any room, and Fiberbuilt rates it for irons only; the 5' x 5' at $749 adds short drivers.
Single-hitting if one golfer uses the bay and the room is tight: the hitting section sits to one side and the 2' x 4' spacer panel on the other side holds a floor launch monitor or ball tray. Center-hitting if a right-hander and a left-hander share the bay: the hitting section sits in the middle with a stance panel on each side, which needs 14 feet or more of bay width.
Yes. The modular rubber base is built for indoor or outdoor use and will not slide underfoot, the turf is all-nylon and UV resistant, and the putting greens set up on a patio or in a backyard. The ball trays have drainage holes for outdoor use.
Fiberbuilt guarantees the Fiberbuilt Grass hitting surface for 300,000 shots and the Player Preferred Pure Impact surface for 150,000 shots. The guarantee covers the hitting section, which on a Fiberbuilt mat is a separate panel on the modular base, so a worn section is replaced without replacing the stance mats.
Yes. Fiberbuilt says the Player Preferred surface is launch monitor tested to deliver the launch conditions of real fairway grass and that its Vibration Absorption Layer removes false positives from clubhead bounce. The single-hitting studio mats include a 2' x 4' spacer panel sized for a floor launch monitor. Recalibrate after the mat is down, since mat height changes where the ball sits in the read zone.
A combo mat joins a studio hitting mat to a Fiberbuilt putting green on one rubber base. The Player Preferred 8' x 10' single-hitting combo is $2,749, the Player Preferred center-hitting combo runs $3,149 to $3,779 in 10' x 10' and 10' x 12', and the Grass Series center-hitting combo runs $3,149 to $4,729 with a 10' x 6', 10' x 8' or 10' x 12' green. The putting turf runs at 9 on the stimpmeter and takes chip shots.
Yes. Affirm is available at checkout with monthly payments, and 0% APR may be available depending on eligibility. Shop Pay installments are offered on the same cart.
Top Shelf Golf is an authorized Fiberbuilt dealer, so every mat is covered by Fiberbuilt's warranty: a one-year limited warranty on stance and turf mats and a five-year limited warranty on the rubber base, against defects in workmanship or material. The shot guarantee covers the hitting surface separately. See our return policy for returns and exchanges.
