The Flightscope Mevo Gen 2 works perfect for my outdoor setup. I have a bout 10' of ball flight and the numbers are what I expect. I also like being able to take this launch monitor to the range to get numbers.

Snow on the driveway, a Tuesday night, and you are still hitting driver, with the FlightScope Mevo Gen2 set up behind the ball. Choose the screen size, mat and projector here, watch the build take shape in 3D at real size, and check out without waiting on a quote.
The FlightScope Mevo Gen2 DIY Enclosure Golf Simulator is a complete home golf simulator package built around the FlightScope Mevo Gen2 launch monitor: a Carl's Place DIY enclosure with a premium impact screen in six sizes, a Real Feel hitting mat, and a short-throw laser projector with its ceiling mount. Every pick updates the price and the 3D view, and the whole build goes to your cart as one package. It is for the golfer who wants one order for the whole room instead of sourcing a screen, frame, mat and projector separately.
Use the builder above to change the enclosure size, hitting mat or projector, or add a landing pad, gaming computer, touch screen monitor, software or Add-Ons.

FlightScope Mevo Gen2 is a powerful, budget-friendly launch monitor that delivers professional-grade accuracy through its advanced radar-plus-camera Fusion Tracking technology. With 20 data parameters, integrated video analysis, and smooth indoor-and-outdoor performance, Mevo Gen2 gives golfers the reliable feedback they need to improve faster. Its portable design, long battery life, and included E6 Connect courses make it a true all-in-one practice and simulator solution with no recurring software fees. For golfers who want serious performance, versatile use, and exceptional value, Mevo Gen2 stands out as one of the most complete and accessible launch monitors on the market.

The Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure builds a clean, fully contained hitting bay. Every size in this package ships with the triple-layer Premium impact screen, a pre-cut 1-inch EMT pipe framing kit, foam inserts, a pair of 8 ft net wall extensions and an overhead safety baffle. BlackStop light-absorbing fabric keeps the picture bright with less bounce-back.
Room minimum, to the inch. Width is Carl's overall frame plus a 3 in buffer on each side; height is the frame plus 3 in above; depth is 12 in behind the frame, the 67.375 in frame, 5 ft 1 in from the frame to the tee (10 ft from the screen, the closest Carl's says to hit from) and 8 ft behind the tee for the FlightScope Mevo Gen2 (FlightScope places it 8 ft behind the tee), which is 19 ft 9 in for every size. Figures are rounded up to the next inch.

The package ships with the Real Feel Country Club Elite Golf Mat, 5'W x 5'L. Its long, dense fibers let you swing down and through the turf the way you would off a fairway, it takes a real wooden tee, and the base absorbs the strike so your joints do not.
Three Fiberbuilt mats are one click away in the builder, or remove the mat if you already have one:
The Tour Landing Pad cushions and quiets balls dropping off the screen, keeps them from scuffing the floor, and bridges the gap between the mat and the enclosure. The builder offers the width that matches your bay, always 8 ft long:

The Optoma ZW350ST is the included projector: 3,600 lumens, a 30,000-hour DuraCore laser with no bulb to replace, and a 0.521:1 short throw, so it mounts close to the screen and out of the swing. Seven BenQ short-throw projectors are available in the builder, from the 1080p TH671ST to the 5,100-lumen 4K LK936ST, and the ceiling mount switches to the right model for whichever projector you choose. Remove the projector and the mount goes with it. The projector calculator shows the mount distance for your screen size.

Simulation software such as GSPro and the PC version of E6 Connect needs a gaming-class computer (E6 Connect also runs on iOS), and the one you pick here arrives ready for it. SurfThing builds them for golf simulation: 32GB DDR5, a 2TB SSD and an NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPU, in a desktop tower or a laptop. With the desktop PC, add the SurfThing DT2424H 23.8-inch touch screen to start rounds, review data and scrub swing video without walking back to a keyboard. It is not offered with the laptop, which has its own screen.
FlightScope places the Mevo Gen2 8 ft behind the tee and asks for 8 ft of ball flight.
No wall or enclosure mounting is needed: the Mevo Gen2 goes on the floor 8 ft behind the tee and the net catches the shot. FlightScope asks for 8 ft of ball flight and 8 ft behind the tee; check the specific net you pick for its own frame depth.
Every width of the Net Return Simulator Bay stands 8 ft 6 in tall and 3 ft 6 in deep and can sit 6 in from a wall. The Mevo Gen2 goes on the floor 8 ft behind the tee.
The Carl's DIY kit needs 19 ft 9 in of room depth with the Mevo Gen2 behind the ball, up from 16 ft 9 in on its own.
The Pro enclosure needs at least 16 ft 0 in of room depth on its own, and 19 ft with the Mevo Gen2 behind the ball. The frame is free-standing, so the unit sits on the floor behind you and nothing attaches to it.
Same 19 ft as the Pro Enclosure, both up from 16 ft 0 in on their own with the Mevo Gen2 behind the ball.
Carl's plans a Built-In room as 12 in behind the screen for buffer space plus 6 in to install the flaps, at least 10 ft from the screen and 7 ft of swing room in every direction. The Mevo Gen2 sits on the floor 8 ft behind the tee.
Our pick: the Pro Enclosure. At 19 ft with the Mevo Gen2 behind the ball, its frame is free-standing, so nothing has to be fixed to a wall.

We're proud to say we are an Authorized Dealer/Distributor for all the brands we carry. All our products come directly from the manufacturer. Your launch monitor, projector and computer are covered by their manufacturer's warranty from the date of the original purchase, subject to its conditions and limitations. Carl's Place screens and enclosure materials are wearable goods, so they do not carry a warranty. Some marking and wear from the first sessions is normal, and how long a screen lasts depends on skill level, how often you play and how it is installed. If something looks unusual rather than like normal wear, send us photos and your order number and we will take it up with Carl's Place.
All impact screen sales are final with no returns. Because fit and material choice matter, measure your space before ordering.
All Optoma sales are final. No returns will be accepted.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and enjoy it for many years to come. If you decide you want to return your product, we will gladly assist you in the process. Please inspect your purchase when your package arrives. Product received damaged must be noted with the freight carrier at time of delivery. Contact us immediately no later than 24 hours from delivery time to report the damage.
