Upgraded this year to the PerfectBay enclosure from the net return and absolutely love it.

Some walls hold a TV. This one holds your home course. Carl's Place sews the Built-In screen to your exact wall and hangs it on wall anchors with no pipe or frame, so the room reads as finished carpentry. Configure it here, see it in 3D and buy it as one package.
A Carl's Place Built-In Golf Room Kit with the triple-layer Premium impact screen, sewn to any wall 8 to 20 ft wide and 8 ft to 10 ft 9 in tall, a Real Feel hitting mat, the Optoma ZW350ST short-throw laser projector with its ceiling mount, and the launch monitor of your choice from 22 radar, camera and overhead units.
Every pick updates the price and the 3D view, and the whole build goes to your cart as one package. The starting price is a 14'W x 9'H Premium screen kit, mat, ZW350ST and mount at their live prices, so a sale on any part shows here the same day. Set your own wall and the kit reprices to the inch.
Watch how the built-in screen hangs 1 ft in front of the wall on cables and tensioning hardware for a permanent, finished golf room. Nothing stands on the floor, so curtains or panels pull back and the same space seats the family for a movie.
Carl's Place Built-In screen kit assembly: corner cable anchors, pulley wheels, top cable and turnbuckles, then tensioning the impact screen on your wall.
*Note: Set your wall size, screen material and top masking, and change the hitting mat or projector, in the builder.
The Built-In screen pairs with a premium launch monitor: the Foresight Sports GCQuad and QuadMAX, the Uneekor EYE XO2 or the Foresight Sports Falcon. All 22 units in the dropdown are grouped below by where they sit, so pick the group that fits your room, then the unit.
FlightScope X3C, Full Swing KIT, FlightScope Mevo Gen2, Rapsodo MLM2PRO, Garmin Approach R10 and Swing Caddie SC4 PRO.
Foresight Sports QuadMAX, GCQuad and GC3, Garmin Approach R50, Foresight Sports GC3S, Uneekor EYE MINI, Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition, Uneekor EYE MINI LITE, Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition and SkyTrak ST MAX.
The Foresight Sports Falcon takes a 9.5 to 10.5 ft ceiling; the Uneekor EYE XO2, TruGolf APOGEE, ProTee VX, Uneekor EYE XO and EYE XR take 9 to 10 ft. Above that, add the Launch Monitor Ceiling Drop-Mount Kit in the builder. Uneekor recommends a room at least 13 ft wide for the EYE XR.
*Note: Already own a launch monitor? Keep the default, BYO Launch Monitor, and use yours. The launch monitor comparison lines every unit up by accuracy, placement, software and price, and the golf simulator builder sizes a full setup to your room.

Carl's Place sews the Built-In Golf Room Kit screen to your exact wall dimensions and hangs it on cables and wall anchors 1 ft in front of the back wall. There is no pipe and no frame, so the room reads as finished carpentry, not equipment you assembled.
This package quotes the triple-layer Premium screen, the best image of Carl's four materials; Standard, Preferred and High-Contrast Gray are in the builder. Every screen is cut and sewn in Milton, Wisconsin, and we confirm your size, masking and layout with you before anything is sewn.
The screen is sewn to the width and height you set in the builder, so measure the wall first. Then check the room around it: you want at least 10 ft between you and the screen, with about 7 ft of swing room in every direction.
*Note: Overhead launch monitors need a 9 to 10.5 ft ceiling depending on the unit. Not sure your room fits? See our golf simulator room size guide.

The package ships with the Real Feel Country Club Elite Golf Mat, 5'W x 5'L. Its long, dense fibers let you swing down and through the turf like a fairway, it takes a real wooden tee, and the base absorbs the strike so your joints do not.
Three Fiberbuilt mats are one click away in the builder, or remove the mat if you already have one:

The Tour Landing Pad cushions and quiets balls dropping off the screen, keeps them from scuffing the floor, and bridges the gap between the mat and the screen. It is not selected by default.
Tick it and the builder matches the pad to your wall width, rounded down to the half foot so it never runs wider than the wall, and 8 ft long from the screen toward the mat: a 14 ft wall gets a 14'W x 8'L pad.

The package includes the Optoma ZW350ST, a 0.521:1 short-throw projector with 3,600 lumens and a 30,000-hour DuraCore laser, so there is no bulb to replace. The ceiling mount is included.
Upgrades to 1080p and 4K BenQ short-throw projectors are available in the builder, and the ceiling mount switches to match the one you choose.

Simulation software such as GSPro, E6 Connect and FSX Play needs a gaming-class computer, and the one you pick here arrives ready for it. SurfThing builds them for golf simulation: 32GB DDR5, a 2TB SSD and an NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPU, in a desktop tower or a laptop.
With the desktop PC, add the SurfThing DT2424H 23.8-inch touch screen to start rounds, review data and scrub swing video without walking back to a keyboard. It is not offered with the laptop, which has its own screen.
The second gallery thumbnail opens an interactive 3D view of your room at real size, with the screen across the wall and the launch monitor where it belongs: behind the ball, beside it or overhead. Drag to rotate, pinch or scroll to zoom, open it full screen. Share build saves the configuration to a short topshelfgolf.com link with a picture, for a spouse, a contractor or us, and the link rides along on your cart line and order.

The base package is a Carl's Place Built-In Golf Room Kit with the triple-layer Premium impact screen, sewn to the wall size you set in the builder and quoted at 14'W x 9'H until you confirm your wall.
The kit ships with the custom-sized screen with top masking, a pre-fed bottom cable and a loose top cable, 2 cable locks with release pins, 4 corner cable anchors with 1/4 in lag screws, 4 pulley wheels with safety wire lynch pins, loop-fabric starter panels, 10 snaphooks with screws and drywall anchors, 10 zip ties and 50 hook-and-loop straps, 3 detached flaps to cover the exposed cable, a fastener set and setup and measuring instructions.
It also includes a Real Feel Country Club Elite Mat 5'W x 5'L, an Optoma ZW350ST short-throw laser projector and its ceiling mount.
A launch monitor, a protective case for the ProTee VX, Uneekor EYE XO or EYE XO2, a Launch Monitor Ceiling Drop-Mount Kit, padded panels or retractable curtains, a landing pad, a gaming computer and a touch screen are added in the builder.
Twenty-two. Behind the ball: FlightScope X3C, Full Swing KIT, FlightScope Mevo Gen2, Rapsodo MLM2PRO, Garmin Approach R10 and Swing Caddie SC4 PRO.
Beside the ball: Foresight Sports QuadMAX, Foresight Sports GCQuad, Foresight Sports GC3, Garmin Approach R50, Foresight Sports GC3S, Uneekor EYE MINI, Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition, Uneekor EYE MINI LITE, Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition and SkyTrak ST MAX.
Overhead: Foresight Sports Falcon, Uneekor EYE XO2, TruGolf APOGEE, ProTee VX, Uneekor EYE XO and Uneekor EYE XR. Picking one switches the page to that option, so the price and the 3D view match your build.
Overhead units are ceiling-specific: 9 to 10 ft for ProTee VX and TruGolf APOGEE, 9.5 to 10.5 ft for the Foresight Falcon, and 9 to 10 ft for Uneekor EYE XR, EYE XO and EYE XO2.
Above those heights, the builder offers Carl's Launch Monitor Ceiling Drop-Mount Kit, cut for each of those units in 6 in to 9 in, 12 in to 18 in, 2 ft to 3 ft and 3 ft to 5 ft drops, for a level or a sloped ceiling.
Plan for a room at least about 14 ft wide with a ceiling of at least 9 ft, and stand at least 10 ft from the screen with roughly 7 ft of swing room around you.
You also want at least 12 in of buffer behind the screen and about 6 in in front for the flaps and starter panels. Add about 36 in of depth for each row of padded panels.
Overhead launch monitors need a 9 to 10.5 ft ceiling depending on the unit. Uneekor recommends a room at least 13 ft wide for the EYE XR.
Before you order, put a ball where the tee will go and take a slow, full swing with your longest club.
Everything in the package plugs into ordinary 120 V household outlets; no dedicated circuit or hardwiring is needed.
The projectors run on a 100 to 240 V supply and draw 139 W (Optoma ZW350ST) to 440 W (BenQ LK936ST), a gaming PC is a standard desktop tower or laptop, and the launch monitor runs on a small power adapter or its own battery, so one 15 A circuit carries the whole bay.
Plan an outlet at the ceiling for the projector and one near the tee for the launch monitor and computer.
Any width from 8 to 20 ft and any height from 8 ft to 10 ft 9 in, set to the inch on the Room Width and Room Height sliders in the builder. The screen is sewn to those exact numbers, with no fixed size list to match.
The room loads as a 14'W x 9'H quote. Move a slider or press Confirm my wall and the kit reprices to your numbers; nothing goes to the cart until you do. We confirm your size, masking and layout with you before anything is made.
Every built-in screen includes a black masking band across the top at no charge. It fine-tunes the viewable aspect ratio to your projector, and Carl's sews it between 4 and 12 in.
Leave it on Standard unless you already know your setup. If the white strip between the top of your projected image and the ceiling measures 4 to 12 in, ask for that number instead.
The package quotes the triple-layer Premium screen, Carl's best image with reduced noise. Standard (budget builds), Preferred (a tighter weave and sharper image) and High-Contrast Gray (deeper contrast in a room with ambient light) are in the builder as well, and all four are built for full-impact play.
Gray builds contrast by absorbing light, so the projector has to make that back up: Carl's recommends at least 4,000 lumens in a room with any meaningful light, and 5,000 or more if the room is genuinely bright. Pick High-Contrast Gray and the builder greys out projectors under 4,000 lumens. In a room you can darken, a white screen gives the better image. Our impact screen materials guide breaks down the differences.
The kit is designed for people comfortable with home-renovation and construction work. A proper install calls for a laser level to align the components, lag screws into the top and bottom plates of your walls, removing any trim that interferes, and patient tensioning until the screen sits flat.
Mount the corner cable anchors and starter panels first, then zip tie the corners of the screen, secure the grommets to the cables with the hook-and-loop straps, pull the cables taut through the cable locks, and attach the flaps to cover the exposed cable. If that kind of work is not a fit, the Pro Enclosure Golf Simulator stands on its own frame.
The Built-In kit group in the builder offers padded panels for the side walls and the ceiling, or a retractable curtain for either side wall, or nothing, and the price follows each choice.
Padded panels are the most protective option: a foam core in smooth black fabric, custom-sized to your room and hung with French cleats and Z-clips. Retractable curtains block ambient light with reinforced grommets and a weighted bottom, and pull back when the room is not playing golf.
Eight. The included Optoma ZW350ST 3600-Lumen WXGA Laser (0.521:1 throw), then the 1080p BenQ TH671ST 3000-Lumen (0.69-0.83:1), AH30ST 3000-Lumen LED (0.69-0.83:1), AH500ST 4000-Lumen Laser (0.5:1) and AH700ST 4000-Lumen Laser (0.69-0.83:1).
In 4K: the BenQ LK830ST 4000-Lumen Laser (0.496:1), AK700ST 4000-Lumen Laser (0.69-0.83:1) and LK936ST 5100-Lumen Laser (0.81-0.89:1). The mount switches to the right model for whichever projector you choose, and if you remove the projector the mount goes with it.
The included ceiling mount tilts and rotates for image alignment: the Optoma mount with the ZW350ST, the BenQ mount with any BenQ projector. Remove the projector and the mount goes with it.
Carl's Universal Projector Mount is in the builder too: flush to a level ceiling, or on a 6 in to 9 in, 12 in to 18 in, 2 ft to 3 ft or 3 ft to 5 ft drop for a level or a sloped ceiling.
The mount distance under each projector in the builder follows the wall you set, with the picture sized to fill the screen in the projector's own shape: 16:9 for the BenQ models, 16:10 for the ZW350ST. The projector calculator shows the mount distance for any screen size.
Most items ship within 1-3 business days. The hitting mat, projector, projector mount and any launch monitor you add ship separately from the screen.
The Built-In screen is sewn to order after we confirm your wall size, masking and layout with you, so it ships once Carl's Place finishes production. Shipping is free within the contiguous 48 states on most products over $150 (some exceptions apply). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
We're proud to say we are an Authorized Dealer/Distributor for all the brands we carry. All our products come directly from the manufacturer. Your launch monitor, projector and computer are covered by their manufacturer's warranty from the date of the original purchase, subject to its conditions and limitations. Carl's Place screens and enclosure materials are wearable goods, so they do not carry a warranty. Some marking and wear from the first sessions is normal, and how long a screen lasts depends on skill level, how often you play and how it is installed. If something looks unusual rather than like normal wear, send us photos and your order number and we will take it up with Carl's Place.
Because each Built-In screen is sewn to your exact wall dimensions, Built-In kit sales are final with no returns. We confirm your size, masking and layout with you before anything is produced, so measure your space before ordering.
All Optoma sales are final. No returns will be accepted.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and enjoy it for many years to come. If you decide you want to return your product, we will gladly assist you in the process. Please inspect your purchase when your package arrives. Product received damaged must be noted with the freight carrier at time of delivery.
