The Optoma 4K400STx (4K UHD, 4,000 lumens, 8.77 lbs) is within the weight rating but is not on Optoma's compatible-models list. Any projector you mount must weigh 33 lbs (15 kg) or less, and its mounting holes must line up with the mount's adjustable extension arms (included in the box). Simple Setup, Precise Results
1. Mark Your Position
Determine where the projector needs to sit based on your throw distance and screen position. Use the ceiling plate as a template to mark drill holes.
2. Secure the Ceiling Plate
Mount the ceiling plate with lag bolts and washers, on a ceiling that can support the weight of the projector and mount.
3. Set the Drop Height
Adjust the telescoping arm between 22.7 and 32.9 inches based on your ceiling height and desired projector position.
4. Mount and Align
Attach your projector, then use +/-30-degree rotation and +/-20-degree pitch and roll to dial in the perfect image alignment.

The OCM815W is Optoma's universal mount, and universal is exactly why it does not line up out of the box. The arms sit on the circular center plate and slide and rotate independently. You loosen them, balance them out against the ZW350ST's mounting holes, then tighten them down. Any hole pattern works, but no pattern comes preset. On the enclosure, the Carl's Place Enclosure is built to order rather than pulled off a shelf, and that build normally runs about a week before it enters the delivery system. Yours fell across the Labor Day long weekend, which added a few days. It shipped and is still on track for Friday, September 11, the date we confirmed with you when we spoke.
