Real Yardages for Every Club. On the Screen, Not Your Phone.
The Shot Scope LM1 Launch Monitor is a pocket Doppler radar that puts club speed, ball speed, smash factor, carry and total distance on its own 3.5-inch color screen.
Stand it behind the ball, pick a club with the side buttons and hit. No calibration needed.
What You Get
K-Band Doppler Radar
A 24 GHz K-band sensor reads the club and the ball on every strike, at club speeds from 25 to 220 mph.
3.5-Inch Color Screen
Switch to the Large Digit layout and one number fills the screen, big enough to read from your stance. Black or blue background.
Speed Training Mode
A dedicated mode reads swing speed in mph or km/h with a club or speed sticks, set 6 to 8 feet behind you.
Three Session Types
Practice Range, On Course and Speed Training. Pick any club in the bag on the device and every shot saves to that club.
Rain-Ready, Pocket-Size
IPX3 rated and under an inch thick, with a kickstand and a protective carry case in the box.
Free App and GPS Maps
Sessions upload over Bluetooth to the free Shot Scope app for lifetime history, and the app adds GPS hole maps for the course.
Five Numbers and What Each One Tells You
Club speed and ball speed show how much speed you make and how much reaches the ball. Smash factor grades the strike. Carry and total tell you which club to pull.
Four Golfers It Suits
Driving Range Regular
You want a carry number for each club before the next ball is teed.
Backyard or Net Player
You hit into a net and want ball speed and smash factor to judge contact when you cannot watch the ball fly.
Speed Trainer
You swing speed sticks or a driver to add mph.
On-Course Distance Checker
You want to see what you actually hit on the course. On Course sessions save separately from range work.
Range and on-course sessions save to the History menu on the unit.
Shot Scope LM1 Specs
In the box: LM1 launch monitor, USB-C charging cable, protective carry case, cleaning cloth and user manual.
Shot Scope LM1 Review
Buy the Shot Scope LM1 if you want carry yardages for every club at the range without juggling a phone. The color screen is the reason to pick it over the PRGR Black.
Pass on it if you need spin or launch angle.
- Color screen with a Large Digit mode.
- Rechargeable battery instead of AAAs.
- Free app with lifetime history and GPS hole maps.
- 2-year Shot Scope warranty, double the 1 year on the PRGR Black.
- Five metrics: no launch angle or spin rate; the Voice Caddie SC300i adds launch angle and apex height.
- Does not run simulator software, so there is no course play on a projector screen.
- At 10.6 oz it is heavier than the 4.6 oz PRGR Black.

Place it 1.4 m (55 in) behind the ball, on the same ground level, screen facing the hitting direction.
Line It Up
Keep the LM1 in line with your target so the radar looks straight down the launch direction.
Pick Session and Club
Choose Practice Range, On Course or Speed Training, then scroll to your club. No match? Pick the closest loft.
Clear the Area
Keep other radios, computers and launch monitors away from the unit. Indoors, give the net room behind it and enough ceiling height.
