The SIG12 is the largest standard size in the SIG lineup, built for bigger rooms and golfers who want a more "theater" feel. It uses the SIGPRO Premium Impact Screen (rated for strikes up to 250 MPH) plus a tight, padded surround to keep your bay safe and professional.

  • Fast assembly: color-coded push-pin poles & connectors
  • Safer hitting bay: protective foam padding around the screen perimeter

FAQs

How much room do I need for a SIG12 enclosure?
Plan for enough width for a comfortable swing, plus depth for your hitting position and projector. The commonly recommended minimum space for SIG12 is 14'W x 10'H x 20'D. If you have a steep swing or you're tall, you may need more ceiling height than the minimum. For reference, the smaller sizes need less room: SIG10 needs 12'W x 9'H x 18'D, and SIG8 needs 10'W x 9'H x 16'D.
Is the SIGPRO impact screen good for high ball speed? Will it hold up?
Yes. SIG12 uses the SIGPRO Premium Impact Screen, designed for repeated strikes and marketed as rated up to 250 MPH. It's built for home simulator use and frequent practice, while also helping reduce bounceback compared to thinner, budget screens.
Does SIG12 fill the whole screen with the projector image?
Yes. SIG12 is designed for 100% screen fill (no unused white space at the top and bottom) when paired with the right projector placement and settings, the same full-screen design as SIG10, just at a larger size.
How long does it take to assemble a SIG12 enclosure?
Most customers assemble a SIG12 enclosure in a few hours with two people. The system uses color-coded push-pin poles and a guided assembly process. Because SIG12 is the largest SIG size, budget extra time for positioning and squaring everything up before you tension the screen, especially in a tighter room.
Can I use a SIG12 enclosure in a garage?
Yes, in a larger garage or bonus room. SIG12 needs the most space in the lineup, so double-check your ceiling height and room width before ordering; if your garage is on the smaller side, SIG8 or SIG10 will fit more comfortably.
Do I need side netting or extra protection with a SIG12 enclosure?
The enclosure includes a padded surround designed to protect the bay, but side protection depends on your swing and spacing. If you have limited width, mixed righty/lefty play, kids practicing, or higher-speed players, adding side barrier netting is a smart safety upgrade.
Can right-handed and left-handed golfers use the same SIG12 enclosure?
The enclosure itself is neutral. The deciding factor is your launch monitor type and how you set the hitting position. With enough room width and the right launch monitor, SIG12 works well for righties and lefties sharing the same simulator.
Can I replace the impact screen later?
Impact screens are wear items over time, especially with high-volume practice. SIG12 is designed so the screen can be replaced without replacing the entire enclosure-an easy way to refresh image quality and performance years down the road.
Does Top Shelf Golf offer financing for the SIG12 Golf Simulator Enclosure?
Yes. Top Shelf Golf offers financing through Affirm with flexible monthly payment options. Select Affirm at checkout to check your rate -- it takes seconds and won't affect your credit score. 0% APR options may be available depending on eligibility.
