Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator
The Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition brings Bushnell photometric tracking to $1,999. Same triscopic high-speed camera system as the $2,999 Launch Pro, for $1,000 less.
Indoor-only unit: No battery. No built-in display. Not portable. The LPi drops the features you do not need in a dedicated sim room. What remains is the core that matters: 13 ball data points, 4 club metrics, and compatibility with Foresight Premier and GSPro. Plug in, subscribe, and play -- no compromises on accuracy.
Available to U.S. customers ONLY. All products will be shipped and sold only to U.S. credit card bearers and U.S. addresses.

Why the Bushnell LPi Is the Best Indoor Launch Monitor Under $2,000
Triscopic Camera System
Three high-speed, high-resolution cameras with infrared capture thousands of frames per second at the moment of impact. The cameras measure the ball at launch, and the software calculates the flight from those measurements.
13 Ball Data Points
Every shot reports carry distance, ball speed, total spin, launch angle, spin axis, back spin, side spin, apex, descent angle, offline distance, ball curve, and hangtime.
4 Club Metrics
With the included club marker pack, track club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack. Essential data for swing improvement and club fitting. Requires club marker stickers + active Silver or Gold subscription.
Auto-Calibrating + LINK
The LPi's three-camera system calibrates itself automatically every time you power on.
Beside-the-Ball Placement
The LPi sits beside the hitting area, not behind it. No need for the extra room depth behind the ball that rear-mounted radar units require. Ideal for tighter indoor spaces where every inch of room depth matters.
Launch Pro Accuracy, $1,000 Less
Identical camera hardware and identical accuracy to the Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B ($2,999). The LPi drops the battery and display -- features you do not need in a dedicated sim room -- and passes the savings to you.
Bushnell LPi Club Metrics
Club data tracked with every swing.
Requires included club marker stickers + active Silver or Gold subscription.
What the LPi Tracks on Every Shot
Triscopic camera system measures the ball at impact and reports 13 ball data points -- no special balls required.
Bushnell LPi Subscription Cost & Tiers
The LPi shows ball data on the free tier; an active subscription unlocks club data and simulation software. Choose the tier that fits your game and budget.
Silver Subscription -- $199/Year
- Full ball and club data
- Foresight Premier and the Foresight app
- Course Pass eligible (courses sold separately)
- Save sessions and track stats
- Challenges, drills, and dispersion views
Best for: Golfers who want accurate data, practice tools, and the option to add a Course Pass.
Gold Subscription -- $599/Year
- Everything in Silver
- Swing video capture and multiple profiles
- Club comparison view and drills with course overlays
- GSPro compatible (sold separately)
- Access to additional 1st and 3rd-party software
Best for: Serious sim golfers who want swing video, advanced analytics, and GSPro access.
The LPi includes a 30-day free trial of Silver or Gold, with or without a Course Pass, so you can experience the full platform before committing. Course play in Foresight Premier needs a Course Pass ($295/year for 35 courses, or Course Pass Pro at $595/year for the full library) with either tier. GSPro requires an active Gold subscription and a separate GSPro license ($250/year).
Is the Bushnell LPi Right for You?
Dedicated Sim Room Builder
You are building a permanent indoor simulator setup with a PC, projector, enclosure, and impact screen. You do not need a battery or portable display -- you need the most accurate data at the lowest possible price for a camera-based system.
Budget-Conscious Accuracy Seeker
You refuse to compromise on data quality, but the $2,999 Launch Pro or $3,799 GC3S stretches the budget. The LPi gives you identical Foresight camera accuracy for $1,999 -- the entry point into tour-level photometrics.
Practice Player Who Wants the Numbers
You want to track spin rates, launch angles, and club path to identify swing patterns and measure improvement over time. The LPi's 13 ball data points and 4 club metrics give you the numbers that actually change your swing.
GSPro and Foresight Premier Enthusiast
You want access to GSPro's 2,500+ courses or the Foresight Premier course library (Course Pass) for realistic round play. The LPi with a Gold subscription runs both (GSPro license and Course Pass sold separately) -- the same software ecosystem as the Launch Pro and GC3.
13 ball metrics plus 4 club metrics from three high-speed cameras. Club data requires included stickers + active subscription.

Get Started with Your Bushnell LPi
Six steps to get your simulator running from day one.
Connect to Power
The LPi requires a dedicated power outlet -- there is no internal battery. Place the unit beside the ball on the hitting mat, plug in the A/C adapter, and it powers on immediately with no warm-up time.
Connect to Your PC
Use the included Ethernet cable (recommended) or USB-C cable to connect the LPi to your simulator PC. Ethernet provides the most stable connection for uninterrupted gameplay. Wi-Fi is also supported for lighter use.
Activate Your Subscription
Your LPi includes a 30-day free trial. Activate it with Silver or Gold to unlock club data and Foresight Premier, and add a Course Pass for course play. After the trial, choose Silver ($199/yr) or Gold ($599/yr) based on your needs.
Apply Club Markers
Place a club marker dot from the included 48-piece pack on each clubface you want to track. This is required for the LPi to measure club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack.
Use the Alignment Stick
The included alignment stick helps you position the LPi at the correct distance and angle relative to the ball. Proper alignment ensures accurate data on every shot. The unit auto-calibrates once positioned.
Launch Your Sim Software
Open Foresight Premier for round play and practice analytics. With a Gold subscription, you can also connect GSPro (sold separately) for access to 2,500+ community-built courses and online play.
Which Enclosure Fits the Bushnell LPi?
The Bushnell LPi sits beside the ball, level with the hitting surface, so it adds no depth behind you. Room depth below comes from each format's own net or screen setup and swing clearance, not from the LPi.
Net
The LPi sits beside the ball rather than behind it, but the golfer's swing still needs clearance behind the ball: Carl's Place gives 4 ft as a minimum and recommends about 7 ft.
Floating Screen
Every width of the Net Return Floating Screen Simulator Bay fits at 14 ft, with 18 ft for a full driver swing. The LPi sits beside the ball at that same depth.
DIY Enclosure
The Carl's DIY kit fits at 16 ft 9 in, with 18 ft 9 in for a full driver swing. The LPi sits beside the ball rather than behind it, so it adds nothing on top of that figure.
Pro Enclosure
The Pro enclosure needs at least 16 ft 0 in of room depth, and a launch monitor beside the ball adds nothing to it.
Curved Screen
Also at least 16 ft 0 in. Carl's curved kits run 14 ft to 17 ft wide, which leaves room on either side of a centered tee for the LPi beside the ball.
Built-In Screen
Carl's plans a Built-In room as 12 in behind the screen for buffer space plus 6 in to install the flaps, at least 10 ft from the screen and 7 ft of swing room in every direction. The LPi sits beside the ball.
Our pick: the Pro Enclosure from 16 ft 0 in, or the Carl's DIY kit for less money, which fits at 16 ft 9 in, with 18 ft 9 in for a full driver swing. Either way the LPi sits beside the ball and adds nothing on top of those figures.

Frequently Asked Questions
The LPi and Launch Pro Circle B Edition use the same triscopic high-speed camera system and deliver identical accuracy. The difference is form factor: the Launch Pro ($2,999) includes a rechargeable battery and built-in display for outdoor portability, while the LPi ($1,999) is plug-in only with no display -- designed for golfers who will use it exclusively indoors connected to a PC. If your unit lives in a sim room, the LPi saves you $1,000 with zero compromise on data quality.
The LPi reports 13 ball data points: carry distance, ball speed, total spin, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle, spin tilt axis, back spin, side spin, ball apex, ball descent angle, ball offline, ball curve, and hangtime. With the included club markers and an active subscription, it also captures 4 club metrics: club head speed, smash factor, club path (in/out), and angle of attack.
Yes. The LPi requires at least a Silver subscription ($199/year) to unlock club data and simulation capabilities; ball data is on the free tier. Without a subscription, the unit has limited functionality. The LPi includes a 30-day free trial of Silver or Gold so you can experience the full platform before choosing a tier. Silver gives you full ball and club data. Gold ($599/year) adds swing video, multiple profiles, and third-party software access including GSPro (GSPro license sold separately). Course play needs a Course Pass ($295/year for 35 courses, or $595/year for the full library) with either tier.
Yes. The Bushnell LPi is built on Foresight Sports technology and uses the same core camera engine as the Foresight GC3S. The primary differences are branding, software ecosystem, and pricing. Both deliver the same level of ball-tracking accuracy using photometric camera technology. Both now run Foresight Premier on Foresight+; club data is on the free tier for the GC3 and needs Silver or Gold on the LPi.
No. The Bushnell LPi is designed exclusively for indoor use. It has no battery and no built-in display for standalone outdoor use. The device also requires a U.S. internet connection at least once every 45 days to maintain full functionality. If you need a launch monitor that works both indoors and outdoors, consider the Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition ($2,999), which adds a battery and display for full portability.
We recommend a minimum of 12 feet wide x 9 feet high x 12 feet deep for a comfortable golf simulator setup. The LPi sits beside the ball (not behind it), so you do not need extra room depth behind the hitting area like radar units placed behind the golfer require. Exact space requirements vary depending on your enclosure and mat choice. Call us at 1-888-871-6110 for help planning your layout.
Full Foresight Premier simulation needs a Windows 10 or 11 PC with at least 16 GB RAM and a graphics card with 8 GB of video memory. Shot data also works in Foresight's iOS app. Need a sim PC? Check out our SurfThing simulator computers -- purpose-built for golf sim software.
Club stickers are required only for club data (club head speed, smash factor, club path, angle of attack). Ball data does not require stickers. The LPi includes a 48-piece club marker pack in the box. Apply one marker per clubface -- they are designed to stay in place through many sessions.
The LPi runs Foresight Premier with a Silver or Gold subscription for shot and club analysis, drills, and round play in 4K; course play needs a Course Pass. With a Gold subscription, you can also connect GSPro (sold separately, $250/year) for access to 2,500+ community-built courses and online multiplayer. Additional 1st and 3rd-party software options are available through the Gold tier.
The LPi ($1,999) and the ST MAX ($1,695) are $304 apart and both sit beside the ball. The LPi uses three cameras and needs club stickers for its 4 club metrics; the ST MAX measures the ball with one camera and reads 5 club metrics with a Doppler radar, no stickers. The LPi is indoor-only on AC power; the ST MAX works indoors and out on a rechargeable battery. The LPi needs Silver ($199/yr) or Gold ($599/yr) to access its club data, while the ST MAX's basic app is free with paid plans from $99.99/yr. If you have a dedicated sim room and want Foresight camera accuracy, the LPi wins. If you want outdoor portability and lower running costs, the ST MAX is the better choice.
Year 1: $1,999 (device) + $0 (30-day free trial included). After the trial, choose Silver at $199/year or Gold at $599/year. Year 1 total with Gold: $2,598. Year 1 total with Silver: $2,198. Each subsequent year costs $199 (Silver) or $599 (Gold), plus $295 or $595 a year if you add a Course Pass for course play. If you want GSPro access, add $250/year (requires Gold). A gaming PC is also required if you do not already own one -- see our SurfThing computers for purpose-built options.
No. The LPi does not measure clubface angle at impact. It tracks club head speed, smash factor, club path, and angle of attack -- but face angle is not included. This is a limitation shared with the Bushnell Launch Pro and Foresight GC3S, which use the same three-camera system.
The LPi ships with: Bushnell LPi Circle B Edition Launch Monitor, 48-piece club marker pack, USB-C cable, Ethernet cable, alignment stick, power cord, quick start guide, and a 30-day free trial (Silver or Gold, with or without a Course Pass). Not included: gaming PC (required to run simulator software), Silver or Gold software subscription (required for club data and simulation), and GSPro license (sold separately, requires active Gold subscription).
The Silver subscription and the Gold subscription do not include courses. Course play in Foresight Premier runs on a Course Pass: Course Pass ($295/year) covers 35 courses and Course Pass Pro ($595/year) unlocks the full library. Either one needs Silver or Gold, and the 30-day trial can include either pass. Additional courses available through GSPro (sold separately).
Yes. Top Shelf Golf offers financing through Affirm with flexible monthly payment options. Select Affirm at checkout to check your rate -- it takes seconds and won't affect your credit score. 0% APR options may be available depending on eligibility.
All six: Net, Floating Screen, DIY Enclosure, Pro Enclosure, Curved Screen and Built-In Screen. The LPi sits beside the ball instead of behind you, so it adds nothing on top of each format's own room depth: at least 16 ft 0 in for the Pro Enclosure and the Curved Screen; 16 ft 9 in, with 18 ft 9 in for a full driver swing for the Carl's DIY kit; and 14 ft, with 18 ft for a full driver swing for a floating-screen bay.
Only what the enclosure itself needs: at least 16 ft 0 in in the Pro Enclosure or the Curved Screen; 16 ft 9 in, with 18 ft 9 in for a full driver swing in the Carl's DIY enclosure; and 14 ft, with 18 ft for a full driver swing in a floating-screen bay. Carl's plans a Built-In room as 12 in behind the screen for buffer space plus 6 in to install the flaps, at least 10 ft from the screen and 7 ft of swing room in every direction. The LPi sits beside the ball, level with the hitting surface, so it adds no depth behind you.
Yes, at a room depth of at least 16 ft 0 in. Carl's curved kits run 14 ft to 17 ft wide, which leaves room on either side of a centered tee for the LPi beside the ball.
